Elyon enjoyed Cedric's help, and because of it, she could mind other business with ease. Eventually something came to mind...
"Cedric..." she started "Can I ask you a question?"

"Hm?" He started to smile when he could tell that Elyon was getting more comfortable. He didn't like the poor girl being paranoid in her own home.

For a second, Elyon remained silent, as she wanted to enjoy the moment just a little bit longer. But eventually she asked in a dark tone of voice: "How did they do it?"
"How did my pa-- Those people take me away and kept all this hidden from me?"

Cedric didn't stop scrubbing, in fact he went a little faster. "About that...well m'dear, it all happened terribly fast!
"I remember Guards rushing everywhere and Phobos screaming madly...'My sister, my sister!' that's what he kept saying...
"I rushed to him immediately to ask him what was wrong. He told me that those traitors were taking you away. So I gathered my army as fast as I could that night and Phobos, the Guards, my army, everyone was chasing after them, trying to get you back. It was a dark rainy night, and so even with my magical abilities I couldn't see anything but a light.
"That light, Elyon, is the portal that those two used to take you away from us. And to make matters worse, they used your brother's Seal, they used his Seal to take his own sister away from him! We were unable to find that Seal, and unable to find you, until now."

It could very well have been the tenth time she heard that story. But it's effects never faded. In fact, every time Elyon heard it, it only made her more hateful than the last time. "But why?" she wondered aloud. "Why did they think they could keep me away forever?"

[Enter: Phobos from Castle Ballroom]
"Because, my dear sister," Phobos said, "They deeply underestimated your power. They thought they could keep you entertained with a human life. But as we all see they were wrong."
Phobos was standing outside of the tower. It would be wrong to see his sister in that manner.

Cedric finally dropped the scrubber at that point and jumped. He hadn't expected a random voice to answer the question. As soon as he realized who the voice belonged to he couldn't bring himself to pick up the scrubber again...
He heart started to beat in agony from it's own guilt, how could he just let this poor delicate angel hate her own saviors? Was he such a monster to keep his mouth shut, to not be modest and for once speak the truth? Was he such a coward that he'd put this girl in front of him like a shield, in order to protect his own self?
"Phobos," he said in a dark tone. He cleared his throat and strained the veins in his arms to grab the scrubber and continue. Saying that name drove him to grit his teeth. He tried with all of his might to hide his regret, the turmoil churning his chest.

Upon hearing his name, Phobos knew who else was in the room.
"Hello, Cedric," Phobos said in a sweet tone, "Why do you sound so.....gloomy?"
Since he already knew the answer, Phobos gave a small chuckle. He is my slave, he thought, I controll his every movement. And if he disobeys me even once, he can kiss his lover, my sister, goodbye. So, in a way, he's a slave to me and himself.

Cedric swallowed a pulp of disgust blocking the air from his throat. He clamped his teeth together inside his mouth. He closed his eyes, aware that they were bulging out so hard they could've popped right out of his eye sockets. He continued to scrub Elyon, and it took a few minutes for enough of his hate for Phobos to drive out of him to find his voice again.
"My prince, how can I be gloomy?" He smiled when he realized, "I have the privilage to bath the princess."
He had never been so happy for Elyon to be there as he was now. Elyon always made everything better for him...whenever Phobos ruined his mood, it only seemed to take Elyon's enlightening exsistance for him to lighten up. He didn't care half as much about his hatred for Phobos. Because his secretive and forbidden love for Elyon could always drive it away.
"Right, Elyon?" He let out a small laugh of relief.

"Because, my dear sister, They deeply underestimated your power. They thought they could keep you entertained with a human life. But as we all see they were wrong." Elyon nearly leapt up in surprise as another voice sounded. Quickly recognizing it as her brother's, she concluded that Phobos had to tie a bell around his neck or something, so she could hear him coming. She quietly followed the two men's conversation from the sidelines, not speaking until Cedric eventually adressed her. "I don't know..." she replied. Elyon didn't want to lie to him again. "You seem a little..."

"Mm?" Once again Cedric was distracted by his two most recently effective emotions: his love for Elyon, and his disgust for Phobos. Both were contradicting each other, love and hate, mixing around in his mind and impelling him away from concentration.
"I seem...?" He'd worried Elyon, which was far from his intentions. He wished he hadn't opened his mouth in the first place. So what does Phobos matter anyway? Why didn't he just completely ignore him and only concentrate on Elyon?

Phobos, seeing that Cedric was once more boubting himself, let out a small sigh. "I shall leave you two alone," he chuckled, "For now. After you're done, Elyon, I would like to talk to you." He walked back to his throne.

"O-okay..." Elyon replied. She tried hard to actually hear Phobos' footsteps this time. Once she was certain that he had left, she continued with Cedric. "You seem a bit tense and weird lately..." she admitted. "Especially around Phobos. Is there something going on between you two? Did you get into an arguement with him?"

"No it's not that...oh I'm sorry Elyon! I didn't mean to be like that, both of us have been very busy and tired, which has made us very testy with each other. It's almost like that whole personal space principal. You know, when you're around one person too much, you get a little of sick of them..."
And I've been around Phobos for long enough, he thought bitterly. Cedric has always secretly been against capturing Elyon. He didn't like the sound of a man actually planning to kill his own sister. Cedric's little sister had been killed when he was very young. But ever since actually meeting Elyon and after being in such darkness under Phobos' single command, a feud had grown between the two. The thought of Elyon dying...Meridian's light dying...his light dying...
He noticed he stopped scrubbing then snapped back and continued.
"But despite that Phobos and I are having our problems, I just want you to stay out of it," he was careful not to sound rude(not that he had intentions when talking to Elyon). "You don't need any more pressure than you already have, I don't want you to worry about us."
He smiled, unsure if Elyon knew or not...something in him wanting her to...

"Okay... If you say so..." Elyon replied. She had this typhical gut feeling that it would probably better to follow Cedric's advice on this one.
"And with me?" she suddenly asked. "Are you a bit testy with me too?"
