What? Cedric screamed in his mind, feeling how the prey tries to escape the trap. "What?" He asked almost as loud in reality, but with surprise, not anger. "Why?" Don't you dare do this to me, don't you dare do this to me, don't you dare do this to me, not after I finally forced myself to touch you... Wait a second - maybe that was the reason?

"I'm really sorry," Will said still backing away and looking around. "I don't think I'm feeling well."
*Will tried not to show suspicion.*
Could it be Matt? No that is impossible...Unless it isn't him...Oh no what's going on here?

For a moment, Cedric really wanted to emerge out of this miserable body and just do what he was best at - ripping bodies apart and feasting on remains. That was his first intention and maybe it would have worked. But in case something went wrong... Well, this disguise was pretty good and Cedric didn't want to ruin it. He'll just wait, change his shape and go after her. Simple as that. "Okay, okay." He raised his hands, calming Will down. "I understand. You sure you'll be okay on your own?"

"Yes, um, thanks. I'll just go pick up that food for my mom and go home to sleep."

"Alright then." 'Matt' tried to smile. "See you tomorrow then." Or maybe later today, in the sewers.

"Yeah, okay, see you tomorrow."
*Will waved and gave one last curious look at Matt and walked down the street with her hands in her pockets wondering...*

Cedric watched Will leave. Then he spat on the ground, bashed his head against the wall and sat down to come up with a new plan. He didn't like the thought of following Will through Heatherfield, the risk of getting spotted was a bit too great. Sooner or later, she will head home. So that's where he'll be waiting for her. What about Elyon? What about her? She said that she needs sleep. And unless she needed a bed time story as well, there was no reason for Cedric to care about her now. Cedric quickly changed from Matt to the old bearded beggar - somehow, he liked this shape - and went back to Will's house.

Day 11, friday. Pretty early in the morning.
[Enter: Elyon from the Bookstore's Room in the Back]
The street was quiet and abandoned. Not a living soul in sight. Until Elyon, princess of Meridian, stepped onto the pavement, coming from a very unusual angle. She just passed through a wall...
She seemed different somehow. Different from the girl at the Halloween party. But also different from the girl who desperately felt the need to be away from her brother... She seemed much more... aware than before. Aware of everything around her.
Elyon's ears caught every sound in the vicinity. Mostly birds singing and Heatherfield waking up. Most importantly, she heard that the whole block was pretty much empty. Only a few people within earshot. That meant that there was no need to hide herself.
She wanted to go look for Cedric but she didn't quite know where to start. The day was still young, though so Elyon decided she could afford just strolling around town for a bit until she sensed him.

[Enter: Will from The Swimming Pool]
Will walked quickly. She needed to get to the Silver Dragon to meet up with the other Guardians. A creature in the museum? A spy following them? A fake Matt and possibly Mr. Collins?
Will walked faster still until she arrived at Hay Lin's house.

[Enter: Nigel Ashcroft from some other place]
Nigel was walking around, not knowing where he would end up, not even sure where he had started. He was just wandering around, pondering about what Uriah had said, wondering for the umpteenth time why he was still with Uriah. Was it because he had nothing better to do? And again he thought about what Uriah wanted to do.
Do I really have to do it? Should I? I guess I should since I already agreed. Besides, what are the chances of there actually being monsters in the museum?
Suddenly he found himself thinking about that new girl, Taranee. To Uriah, she was a shy, timid girl. A perfect target. Uriah was always trying to get to Taranee when she was alone, but she was almost always with her friends. On the outside, she seems shy and timid, the smart stereo type, but Nigel thought he could see something else in there. A strong determination like a burning fire; dying to get out, be seen, but not knowing how.
And she has the nicest smile! And those big brown eyes...
Nigel looked at his watch, and decided to go to the museum. No harm in being early!
[Exit: Nigel Ashcroft to museum]
