[Enter: Cedric and Elyon from the Halls]
Phobos's chamber was as wide and majestic as Elyon's. It was draped with blue and white everywhere, with shiny golden chadeliars hanging from the ceiling. Everything was perfect; nothing out of place. It looked as if no one had ever stepped into this room before, yet there was not a speck of dust to be seen.
He rested the prince upon the ocean-curtained bed.
"Wait here, Elyon. I'll summon a nurse." He stood with his eyes closed and concentrated. He opened his telepathic sense as far as the castle walls.
I summon a nurse nearest to Phobos's Chamber. He's unconscious.
Immediately a young, timid-looking girl stepped into the chamber. "You summoned a nurse, sir?"
"Nurse Dehali," he said in a sad greeting. "I'm afraid our prince is unconscious and Elyon has been unable to wake him up."
Nurse Dehali noticed the hand-shaped mark across his face. "Oh my! What has happened to him?"
"Rebels attacked him, I think. I saw Caleb lying near him..."
He looked at Elyon. Maybe if she explained what happened in detail, it'd give the nurse more information. That would make her feel better, at least enough to continue the ball...

"Uhm..." Elyon wasn't sure if she should confess everything... "I'm not too sure about him being attacked by rebels..." she carefully tried. "He... Probably got hit... on the head in all the... uhh... commotion caused by that soldier..." That seemed like a safe way to explain the situation... And she even managed to prevent a lie... It was all true what Elyon had said... Just not... the whole truth...

As a master of deception, Cedric could easily tell that Elyon was lying. But truth be told, he wasn't really as worried about Phobos as much as he was trying to get Elyon of this scenario.
"Mmm, I see," Dehali said. "I'll take a good look at him. There is no need to fret, princess."
"There Elyon, see? Nurse Dehali is one of the best, he'll be up no time! Now we should probably head back to the ball. I'm sure the people are missing their favorite soon-to-be monarch." He winked at her, hoping this old trick was enough to lure her back to the ballroom...

"You really think so?" The princess asked in a skeptical tone. To be honest... She doubted it... They'd probably notice she had left only upon seeing her come in again. She didn't really want to go back to the ballroom at all...
Until, of course, Elyon realised why she and Phobos headed there in the first place... "Well, okay." She said. "Let's go then... I wouldn't mind something to eat..."

Cedric smiled and said, "This is just around feasting time. You'll love it, we've ordered the best chefs in Meridian!"

The dark prince instantly sits up, freaking out Nurse Dehali & causing her to squeal as she jumps back in fright. Phobos: "What are you doing in my throne room?"

"Good afternoon to you, my prince," the nurse quickly recovers herself and does a slight curtsy. "This is your chamber, sir. Apparently you were attacked and Elyon and Lord Cedric found you unconscious, so they brought you here. Then Cedric summoned me. How are you feeling, sir? Do you have a headache?"
She sat on the bed and waited patiently for his answer.

Phobos: "I've never felt better." *grins at her evilly* "Especially since the penalty for entering into my personal chambers without seeking my permission in advance is death. But enough about me, what about you?" *his right hand begins to reek of dark energy as he reaches out to grab her* "How do you feel?"

Years and years of a being a nurse had taught Dehali to be calm in every situation, for it's the only way to think rationally. This was no exception. She was no psychologist, but she knew a few things about the human psyche.
"I feel fine, thank you," she roughly pulled her hand away, but not so much that it would anger the prince. "You probably shouldn't use your powers after waking so recently. Your body may feel fine now, but the inside is still tramatized from whatever has happened to it. Most people don't know that, so just when they think they've healed, they exert themselves and get hurt all over again."

Phobos: "You're right." *the dark aura vanishes* "I better not overexert myself." *stands up & brushes the wrinkles from his outfit, then walks to the door & turns to face her* "Clean up this room so it looks like it was never used." *turns away* "Oh! And one more thing!" *turns to glare at her* "Remind me to lock you in the dungeons tomorrow. Cause if I must remember on my own..." *smiles evilly* "I might not be so merciful." He leaves the room. [Exit to Halls]

The nurse smiled. Though she intended this, she actually didn't think it would happen. Usually the prince is much too evil to think how most humans would think and would kill her anyway. But he didn't kill her, which perhaps forshadowed a new prince. Maybe the joy-bringing princess would live after all. This was the first hope after the rebellion came to be that the nurse had of prince Phobos ending his rein.
She smoothed out the sheets where he had laid. Then she tended to other things.
