[Enter: Medina and McTiennan from Police Station Entrance]
Right after Rose accompanied Medina and McTiennan to the Investigation Room, she decided to leave; she knew that the Interpol Agents needed some privacy. And the brunette with braids needed to do some paperwork anyway.
The Investigation is empty, unlike what the two Interpol Agents have expected when they arrived. But it is not deserted, however; a handful of drawers from the file cases were opened, their contents seeming like they were just used for some background search. The swivel chairs surrounding the oval wooden table are disorganized, telling them that something did happen there.
McTiennan relaxes back on a chair as Medina quickly focuses on the file case across the room. The blond man then places the file he is holding and opened it. He calmly scans the contents of the file once again, this time he didn't need to think of the time. He has all the time in world; well, at least he thinks so.
Elyon Brown, 14 years old, date of birth is October 31. Mother: Eleanor Brown. Father: Thomas Brown. No other known relatives. He reads aloud in his mind, trying to focus himself of important details he might have missed the first time they received the file holding details on the missing girl. He places a huge stress on the words "No other known relatives" since he finds it peculiar that they do not have any facts regarding their relatives.
I wonder why... it's very weird; a whole family not disclosing such information... He asks mentally as he continues on looking for clues inside the file he is holding in his hands.
Questions barge in his preoccupied mind... Does the Brown family hold a dark past so they can't reveal their relatives? Is Elyon actually kidnapped by her alleged parents? Is the family actually murdered, their traces cleanly erased by the perpetrators?
He shook his head. Be optimistic, McTiennan... you haven't even started on the real case... Yeah, he is right; the real investigation hasn't even started. With only basic info about the Browns, they cannot push on. McTiennan sighs and looks at the picture of the members of the Brown family attached on the folder. If only there is a key to unlock the facts that we need...

Just like a balloon popping right beside his ear, the voice of his colleague takes McTiennan's attention. "McTiennan, I think I've found what we need." Medina approaches his colleague and places an open folder next to the file McTiennan was looking at, not noticing that her last remark took McTiennan by surprise.
"A-Any important info?" McTiennan asks, his eyes moving towards the file Medina just brought. Luckily, Medina didn't notice him stutter. She shows a bland face and crosses her arms. "It's best if you read it for yourself." McTiennan raises an eyebrow and looks at his colleague. He has never seen Medina look so... bleak. "Not even a summary?"
The brunette sighs and shrugs, knowing that time isn't their ally this time. She closes the files and clutches it with her hands, telling her partner, "Well, its about what happened near Aubrey, where a car, owned by the Brown family, was found." She flips again the file she just got and pulls out some pictures, handing them right over to McTiennan. The blond man looks closely at the pictures as Medina continues. "After the investigation from Heatherfield Police, they found no real clues. Like they just disappeared from sight."
Which is very impossible. The reports have seen no traces of foul play, no blood, no DNA, no weapons. Only a few footprints, she continues inside her head. Within her years of experience as an investigator for Interpol with regards to missing persons, she hasn't been faced by such a daunting task: to look for a person with nothing to help them. Medina feels like they are walking blind this time, unlike their previous cases.

Seconds later, after McTiennan flips through the documents, he feels like he hit the jackpot. He grins a bit and tells his companion, "Medina... we might have ourselves some clues here." The brunette's eyes widen as she hears his partner's remark. She knows that his partner's bursts of anticipation only comes within an investigation when something helpful comes on their way.
"It's a picture of the Brown Residence," McTiennan says, handing over to the tanned woman a picture of a lonely house with an eerily glum look to it. Medina looks at the photograph carefully, trying to look for any clues they might get from it.
"What do you think?" The blond man asks, clutching a group of pictures from a plastic bag. Medina focuses on the most minute details available in the picture. "I can't really guarantee it, but judging from the picture, it's definitely a long time since it was occupied," Medina answers. She continues on sifting through the picture, every inch meticulously searched for anything that would help them in the case.

"But..." Medina paused, focusing at the windows on the picture, "I think someone else was entering the premises in this house..." In a sense, Medina felt weird when she looked closely at the Brown Residence, like her first hunch wasn't completely true. McTiennan raised an eyebrow at his colleague. "A hunch? Aren't there concrete clues we can use there?" The blond's impatience was already starting to kick in; between the two, he is a more of a man of action, and being in a relatively idle situation is sometimes his weakness. Medina didn't respond to his last remark and continued on looking for clues.
Seeing that his partner is busy doing her part of the work, McTiennan decided to scan the documents they acquired. To him, the letters printed weren't any helpful, but aren't useless; without a word, he flipped again through the pages and silence filled the air. "I guess I need to stretch my patience a bit..." He mutters in his mind, sighing as he went on with the investigation.

Later on, approximately 10 minutes later, the door leading inside the Investigation Room opened. There entered a stout man wearing the light blue uniform of the Heatherfield Police Department. "Uhh, excuse me..." The brown-haired man politely said as the two looked at him. Medina quickly stood up and smiled, telling the policeman, "Oh, we're sorry to barge in here..." She then reached out her hand and offered a handshake to the stranger. "We came here from Interpol for help regarding the Browns."
"Ah, so you must be Investigators Medina and McTiennan," The man replied with a smile. He remembered well how optimistic his fellow officers were when they heard the news about help from Interpol. He quickly shook Medina's hand and decided to introduce himself to the two. "I'm part of the team in-charge of assistance with the Brown case. I work with Agent Thomas Lair."
McTiennan smiled a bit to show that he was friendly and continued flipping on the documents. Medina, on the other hand, showed her enthusiasm on the case. She approached the brown-haired man and asked, "Have you conducted an investigation inside the Brown Residence?" He shook his head and honestly replied, "We've focused on sifting the clues from Aubrey, and even the evidences there weren't sufficient to push the case through." McTiennan nodded in response.

In a way, Maria felt a bit disappointed because the police weren't able to sift the Brown Residence for clues, but in a way too, she felt relieved that she and McTiennan would work out the investigation inside Elyon's house. Besides, the case was starting to became stagnant; it's about time that they keep up or their case might become too hard to trace. " It's better if we lessen becoming worried," Medina said with a smile. She has managed to relax, since she was certain they were still on their pace. " Unless it's over, it's over." She then looked at his colleague with a smirk; McTiennan answered with a puzzled grin. " Oh, by the way," the agent said, remembering something he and his fellow policemen have discovered on Aubrey. " Inside one of the files we have on the Browns, we've included a key. We suspect that it was the key of the Brown Residence." Medina's smile widened. " McTiennan, the file case," She muttered with a hint of excitement despite her serious tone. McTiennan handed over a file cluttered with documents inside and there, a key slid out of the folder. It clanged the moment it made contact with the folder. The stout policeman was the one who managed to pick up the key. He handed it to Medina and told her, " Here it is. We retrieved it from the dashboard of the vehicle the Browns used." Medina stared at the key for a while and looked at the agent with them. " Let's pack up, guys. We have an investigation to do." Minutes later, Medina and McTiennan packed up the files, brought some with them and rode on their car. Thomas's colleague told the two to go ahead while he called Thomas Lair to help with sifting the clues. It was very dark outside, rain clouds threatening their investigation. They pushed through, though; they wouldn't let this pass. They knew the mystery of Elyon's disappearance is the biggest challenge the HPD and Interpol have encountered.

[Joel & Maria: Enter from Police Station Entrance]
Maria checks the drawings & the stone for fingerprints, while Joel checks to see if the computer can find a match to Elyon's drawing of Lord Cedric.
