"I see.." Vathek replied "And you, my lord would like the room back to its original state?"

Phobos: "If it isn't too much to expect, I'd at least like to have a ceiling again. Don't care much for sitting in the rain, you see?"

"Right," Vathek made a toothy grin. "It shall be done!"
He bowed to Phobos, turned around and left.
[Exit: Vathek to the Throne Room]

The next day...
[Enter: Elyon from her Dormitory]
Elyon quickly rushed up the winding stairs and into the room at the south tower's top... If that eavesdropping bozo knew what was good for him, he'd better not have tried to follow her here...
Then Elyon's eye fell on the art studio Phobos had prepared for her here. It was only a few days ago, but everything was so different back then. Back then, Phobos actually acted mature and kind. Now she was here because he started behaving the exact opposite. "Phobos, you ignorant fruitpie..." she angrily hissed to no one. "Why can't you just be a man and apologize?" Her mind already started filling with regret. But no. She can't get back on her decision now. She'd come off as totally spineless and unwilling to do what she said she would do...

[Belac: Enter from Elyon's Chamber] Since the princess obviously tried to ditch him earlier, he keeps to the shadows & hides from sight. Belac: It seems she & Phobos aren't seeing eye to eye. *smirks* How excellent.

After a few minutes of just standing there, making not a sound, Elyon finally looked up and around the room. Actually, she wanted to take pretty much the whole room with her. A reminder of Phobos' last kind act.
She streched both her arms forward, focussing hard on what she wanted to happen. If she can make her parents evaporate, turn invisible and - supposedly - fly. Then this should be a piece of cake.
One by one, every object in the room vanished. The canvas, the brushes, the pensils. Even a few bricks, by accident. There was no crumbling, no exploding, no evaporating. Everything just vanished, as if it never existed. Elyon sighed... She wasn't sure wether or not she was successful. She looked around once again, just to be sure no one was coming up... Then tried to make one of the brushes appear in her hand. Of course, it did. Much to her enjoyment.
Elyon had it vanish quickly and turned to the door. She looked back for a moment, still hoping Phobos would have a change of heart and try to keep her here. But no... It was time to wave good-bye to Meridian...

Thankful to be watching from a distance, Belac watches as the room is destroyed.

[Enter: Lord Cedric from the Forest]
"Whoah." Cedric said when he finally got here. He didn't notice Phobos' servant. "I thought you said you wanted supplies, not the whole room. Aren't we going to come back?"
The whole room was gone - except the walls. Cedric didn't like it much. He thought they were going for a short trip, just to destroy the guardians and then go back. But apparently the princess had other plans as well. Perhaps never to return. Cedric sighed. Some more convincing to do. But this time he wasn't in the mood for persuasion, so he decided to wait. Maybe in Heatherfield Elyon will calm down.
"Anyway." Cedric smiled. "I found the portal. We're ready to go."

"I'm coming..." Elyon replied. She sighed... "See if Phobos will even care that I'm gone."

"Oh, I'm sure he will." Cedric replied, having something else in mind. "He just needs to open his eyes a little. Hey, don't feel down. I'm sure only good will come out of this."
Cedric felt a presence nearby, but without his snake senses, he couldn't be sure. But if someone was spying on them, it was for the best to get out of here as soon as possible.
"Now, let's go."

Only good would come out of this? Elyon could only hope... But that wasn't important anymore. She managed to get her mind off pretty memories and back on her original reason for leaving...
[Exit: Elyon and Cedric to Trackie's swamp lair]
