She tilted her head, slightly to the right. "Have you?" Elyon asked. She didn't believe him, and with good reason. Cedric had already found Jarod. He didn't say it, but she knew it when he came back from his short search for him. His beautiful eyes... The gentle tone in his voice... He had found that no-good Jarod already. Besides, she herself had also sent sir Vathek in search for that traitor. And to top it off, Phobos was out for a good while last night...
"Maybe, Phobos..." Elyon stated, "Maybe you should open your eyes for once and take a good look at who you're actually talking to!" The tone in her voice was bordering on enraged. Icy cold vanished as easily as it came, and was replaced with burning anger. She was holding back, but the Sniffer could sense it and backed away with a whimper...

"Don't roll your eyes at me!!" Elyon yelled... Almost commanded, even... Her angered flared up some more. Ever since she got here in Meridian.. Ever since she promised herself to stop crying, her temper got more violent and tougher to control. Maybe it was because she had to vent all of her frustration in a different way than usual? Or maybe it was because of all this magical power inside her, that awakened after all those years? "Don't treat me as something I'm not! I'm warning you, Phobos!!"

[Enter: Cedric from the Halls]
Cedric yawned just as he slipped into the massive room. Was he only imagining, or did he feel more tired than usual? As most people didn't know, Cedric was a get-up-before-the-sun-rises kind of person. He was up before Phobos. It was downright weird for him to be so tired in the morning...maybe it was this new mission with Elyon? Probably. He hadn't felt so much emotion for a time in years.
"I just dropped in to see if you needed anything." Cedric already knew Phobos was in here. Phobos was to the throne room as a fish was to the sea. His tired eyes popped open when he saw Elyon there. He also saw a dog near a flower. Where did that come from? Phobos wore a smug expression.
Now that's weird. Isn't he supposed be the sweet, sorry older brother?
"Excuse me," he said in voice was hoping wasn't too loud. "Am I interupting something?"
In the back of his head, a flare of worry flicked off. If he's planning to drain Elyon right here, right now...

Elyon glanced at Cedric for a moment, then back at Phobos, and then back Cedric again. She really wanted to see him, but Phobos' antics had put her in a bad mood. Actually, the princess felt like demonstrating just she could actually do, but decided against it. After all, in her anger, she might overdo it and tear her brother to shreds. Something she would undoubtedly regret later...
"No. No you're not..." Elyon stated, as she turned around and prepared to leave. Looking back at her brother just once more, she actually wanted to say something nasty to him, but couldn't think of anything. She left the throne hall, hoping Cedric would follow shortly.

Cedric felt confused. It was obvious Phobos and Elyon were at it...no matter. As long as Elyon wasn't hurt. That's all that mattered. As he watched Elyon walk out of the room, he followed his urge to go after her.

Phobos smiled. He enjoyed seeing his sister's anger. He stayed sitting on his throne and began to think.
If I can get her to show me how powerful she's become, I'll be able to create a strategy to finish her off. And since I already had plans to finish her protector, Cedric, is, I'll be killing two birds with one stone. All I have to do is find out how strong she is. Then wait...

Boromir (who left the castle ballroom as soon as it was empty) resumes his post in front of the throne.
[Wali & Caleb: Enter from Elyon's Chamber]
Boromir: *grabs his sword* "What do you think you're doing, rebel?"
Wali: "I brink a present for our Dark Prince."
Boromir: "Oh yeah? Lemme see."
Wali: "I am deeply sorry. However, it is for his eyes only."
Boromir: *checks to make sure no one is watching, then looks back at the intruder* "You shouldn't be here, Wali. The soldiers have been ordered to kill rebels on sight."
Wali: "My safety is not your concern. Open the door."
Boromir: *grunts* "To hell with you then." *opens the door for Wali*
Wali walks into the room. Boromir closes the door behind him. ____________ Wali: *approaches Phobos* "I bring a gift from your sister." *drops the sack to the floor*

Phobos: "Oh, really? And what might that be?" If it's a peace treaty, I'll kill him & tell the little runt he attacked first.Wali: "This." *dumps an unconscious Caleb out of the bag & onto the floor* Phobos: "Finally!"He goes up to Caleb & places his hand on the ex-rebel leader's cheek. Light flashes as he begins to drain him of his life force.

The former rebel leader is a shiny flower in mere seconds. After running out of the room with orders from Phobos, a whisperer returns with a pot of soil. It places the pot on the left side of the throne (parallel to a similar pot on the right side) & goes back to the shadows.
Phobos: *places the flower into the pot* "There, now both side of my throne shall smell sweetly." *looks at Wali* "What else did my dear sister tell you to do?"
Wali: "To obey your every order."
Phobos: "In that case." *leads Wali to the map of Meridian on the wall* "Show me the rebel base."
The trance stricken rebel approaches the map. He starts to point at a location, but his hand freezes in the air--as if he was trying to resist the spell.

Phobos: *slightly disappointed* "Too much for you to handle?"
Wali: *no response*
Phobos: "Fine. I have another task for you. I want peace. All this fighting & stuff--it's not my thing. So I want you to do me a huge favor. Go to the rebels & tell them that Caleb was killed by Larvecks. ... Be sure to act really sad & depressed when you do. They need to believe you. And then... When they make you their leader... *goes to look Wali in the eyes* "You are to tell them about our upcoming peace treaty, which will be signed at the mountains. Make sure every rebel is accounted for." *glances over shoulder* "Including your spy, Boromir. Be sure to take him with you when you leave." *looks back at Wali* "Do you understand?"
Wali: *nods*
Phobos: "Good. Now get outta my sight."
Wali walks toward the door.
[Wali: Exit to Rebel base in the Infinite city]

[Vathek: Enter from Halls] Vathek: *kneels* "Sorry, dark prince. I..." Phobos: "Where the hell have you been?"Vathek: "I-I..." *looks down in shame* "I was..." Phobos: *waves his hand* "Forget it, I don't even want to know."Vathek: "..." Phobos: "Lock Boromir up in a prison cell, then send Cedric to me."Vathek: "B-boromir? But why? He is..." Phobos: "Just--do--as--you're--told!"Without another word, Vathek chains Boromir's hands behind his back & leads him to the prison. [Vathek & Boromir: Exit to Isolation Cells]

Without as much as a warning, the throne hall's doors suddenly opened wide, allowing the prince's sister to proudly march into his den...
"Good morning, brother!" Elyon greeted, the tone in her voice revealing that she only said that as an ice-breaker. "Today is gonna be a great day! I can feel it. So I wondered what was on today's scedule?"

Phobos: *yawn* "Let me see... There's lunch, bathing a 2pm, briefing at 3pm, bathing at 4pm, supper at 5pm, bathing at 6pm, gloating over the servants at 7pm, bathing at 8pm. That's about it. ... Oh, yes!" "And an execution at 9pm!"
