Elyon looked ou the window for a moment, trying to gauge the time... If Cedric were to teach her at night, she had to keep a close watch on the time as well... "How about right now? We still have some time, right?"

Mimicking her, he looked out the window and remembered he didn't want her to notice it. He sighed and nodded his head while saying, "Yes, I think we still have a couple of hours before sun begins to rise..."

She couldn't wait! Flying... Who'd ever thought she'd be able to? "So... Do I grow wings now or something?" Elyon jokingly asked

"Haha," Cedric said with a wide grin, "you won't even need them."
Seeing Elyon happy made Cedric feel airy and light-hearted. He looked outside. It would still be dark as pitch for a few more hours.
"We must get going before it gets too late," Cedric said seriously.
[Exit: Cedric and Elyon to the trees near the castle]

[Phobos: Enter from Dining Hall] He originally meant to go to the throne room. However, a certain someone ruined his favorite room to the point of wretchedness. This place will have to do. Besides, he has a clear view of the clearing from here. He will observe Ellie's progress in secrecy.

[Enter: Vathek from the Outer Walls]
Vathek was determined and angry, but he still approached the prince carefully. With all that power that Phobos had, it was dangerous to anger him. But still, this had to be done.
"My prince" Vathek said with a strong voice "Forgive me for disturbing you, but there is a matter... I wanted to talk about."

Phobos: *casually glances in his direction* "Which would be?"

"Well..." Vathek continued carefully "I was wondering if it was... possible for one of your servants to... take a break, I guess. Yeah, take a break. You see, the things we do here - sometimes they clash with my warrior's honor and.. "
"I'm not sure if I'm fit to serve you, my lord" Vathek ended. I'm not sure if I can keep serving a bloodthirsty maniac like you, that is.

Phobos: "I see... And how long of a vacation did you have in mind?"

Vathek's jaw dropped open. What, isn't he gonna kill me for such a request?
"Ah, not... not very long" he said, staring at Phobos as if he would be wearing a dress "A couple of days, perhaps?"

Phobos: "That's fine. Take as long as you need. Report back to Lord Cedric when you return."

"Eehee?" Vathek kept staring with disbelief. Were his ears lying to him?
Deep in his heart, the warrior expected to be yelled at, insulted or maybe even imprisoned - but at least that would have helped him make up his mind and leave Phobos's service. But now, with this kind of polite answer, Vathek didn't even know what to think.
After a few moments of quiet staring, he finally pulled himself together "Yes, my prince! Thank you!"
Vathek turned around and was about to leave, but then another question came up "If it wouldn't be too... impolite, may I ask you, my lord, if we have any plans for the future?"

Phobos: "That depends. How good are you with construction?"

"C-construction, my lord?" Vathek repeated "I can do that, just name the task!"
Here goes my vacation he thought. Well, it wasn't what I needed in the first place.

Phobos: "Well... Let's just say the Light of Meridian decided to redecorate my throne room this morning & did an extremely poor job."
