Day 7
Morning:
[Enter: Cornelia, Cornelia's Room]
*Cornelia yawned as she trudged into the kitchen.*
"Morning Mom, morning Dad." Cornelia said sleepily as she sat down at the kitchen table.
"Good morning Cornelia."
*Mrs. Hale turned on the stove.*
"What has gotten you so tired today?" Mr. Hale asked looking up from the newspaper he was reading.
"I had a really long day yesterday..."
"Would you some pancakes?" Mrs. Hale asked from over by the stove.
"Yes please, Mom."
*Mrs. Hale starts to cook the pancakes.*

"So are you guys all coming to the funeral today for Yan Lin?"
"Yes we all are. We have to wear white right?
"Yea that's what Hay Lin told me. It's supposed to be the Chinese color of sadness."
"How is Hay Lin doing?"
*Mrs. Hale finished cooking the pancakes and served them to her family, while Cornelia answered. The smells of the delicious food filled the room.*
"She's been really sad about Yan Lin, Mom. You know how close they were. It must be really hard for their whole family. These past days whenever you look into her eyes all you see is sadness."
"It's good that you and your friends are going to the funeral."
*Mr. Hale took a sip of his coffee and turned to the weather section of the newspaper.*
"Yeah Dad. We all just want to see her happy again."
*Cornelia started to eat her pancakes.*

"You better hurry up and change, Cornelia."
"Yeah, we have to leave for the funeral in 20 minutes."
*Mrs. Hale scooped a few pancakes onto her own plate and sat down to eat.*
"Yeah I know."
I still have to pick out my outfit. We're never going to make it to the funeral in time!
"So where's Lilian?"
*Cornelia bent down and looked under the kitchen table for her bratty little sister.*
"Oh, she is hiding under her bed. She doesn't like the white dress I picked out for her and won't come out."
*Mrs. Hale gave a nervous laugh and sat down to eat her pancakes.*
Even if I do manage to get ready on time, Lilian is still going to make us all late for the funeral!

"We can't be late for the funeral..." Cornelia muttered to herself.
"What was that about the funeral?" Mr. Hale asked puzzled.
"Oh... nothing Dad!"
*Cornelia hurriedly finished the pancake she was eating and brought her plate over to the garbage. She emptied the leftover pancakes into it and rinsed her plate off in the sink.*
"You know mom, I'm not really hungry anymore." Cornelia called out from over by the sink.
"Was something wrong with the pancakes?"
"No mom they were delicious!" Cornelia quickly said as she gave her parents each a peck on the cheek.
"I just need to go get ready! Don't wanna be late!!!"
*Cornelia ran upstairs while different outfits that she could wear to the funeral swarmed in her head.*
"That girl always seems to be in a hurry lately." Mr. Hale said with a sigh before turning back to his newspaper.

"We better get ready too, hunny." Mr. Hale said closing his newspaper and folding it back up.
"Yeah, and I have to make sure Lilian gets ready too."
"I would be really rude to be late to Yan Lin's funeral."
"Yeah." Mrs. Hale agreed. "She was such a sweet lady. Everyone is going to miss her dearly."
*Mr. and Mrs. Hale both got up and rinsed their plates off before dropping them into the deep sink.*
"Well we should both get ready first and then deal with Lilian later."
*With a nod from his wife, Mr. Hale quickly left the kitchen with his wife close behind.*

Day 9
Morning:
[Enter: Cornelia from Cornelia's room]
"Morning Cornelia!" Mr. Hale replied cheerfully.
"Morning Dad..." Cornelia slowly replied as she realized how tired she really was.
I don't know how I'm going to be able to get through this day...
"Where's Lilian?" Cornelia asked snapping back from her thoughts.
"Oh you're mother had to take her early to school for a conference with her teacher. She got in trouble with her teacher for disrupting the class. Don't you remember her telling you all of this?"
"Oh right!" Cornelia exclaimed as the memory of Lilian grumpily telling her astral drop this story flooded through her mind.
*Cornelia grabbed a piece of the toast covered in strawberry jam and began eating.*
*She looked at the time and quickly gulped down the toast and some water.*
"Bye Dad! I got to go or I'll be late!" Cornelia yelled to her father as she ran out the door.

Evening
[Enter: Cornelia from Cornelia's Room]
*Cornelia came down and ate a quick dinner with her family. She ignored Lilian's snotty remarks and focused on her food. She was still tired and needed a lot more sleep then just four or five hours. After clearing her plate of the chicken and vegetables her mother had made, Cornelia headed back to her room to do some homework and get some more sleep.*

Day 10
Morning:
*Cornelia headed into the kitchen and grabbed some cereal. Her parents and Lilian were still in their rooms, probably getting ready still, so Cornelia ate by herself.*
*Minutes passed and finally Cornelia finished her breakfast and headed out on her bike to go to school.*
[Exit: Cornelia to the Entrance Gate]

Day 11: Morning
Cornelia walked into the kitchen where her mom was up making waffles.
"That smells good," she said cheerfully, sitting at the table and pouring herself some orange juice.
"Here, they're done," Mrs. Hale said as she put the waffles down in front of her daughter.
"Thanks mom," Cornelia said as she began to eat.
She soon finished and went to go brush her teeth. She didn't want to be at school right before the bell rang.
"Bye! I'm leaving!" she called out as she walked down to the gate and grabbed her bike and rode off to school.
