[Enter: Elyon (Not quite as visible) from the cemetary]
"Where did they go?" Elyon asked herself. She didn't quite give the situation proper thought. She had hardly noticed Cedric's cold behaviour, and almost forgot that she was invisible. But there was so much going on, she couldn't give everything the attention it needed. There were doubts and troubles she had to eliminate first...
"Where are they now?"

[Enter: Cedric from the cemetary] Her invisibly was wearing off, so he could see her, but very little. "Hmph. I wonder where those stupid girls are?" Cedric muttered to himself. All he wanted was to go back to Meridian. It was obvious Phobos went to far with his visions and now Elyon was convinced everyone has forgotten her. He looked around as much as he could. Nothing. If I don't find those girls, Elyon won't be coming back to Meridian! If that happens, that means Phobos will get upset, and if he gets upset...Cedric shivered at the thought. Scenes of people getting hung and tortured to death ran through his head. He couldn't even imagine what terrible thing Phobos could possibly do to him.

Elyon leaned against a wall for a moment, holding her head and thinking hard... It was quite likely the others went to one of their houses...
But who's house?

Cedric noticed Elyon leaning on the wall. He peered to see that she was holding her head. She was thinking. Alright, let her think, she'll find her friends, and soon we'll be out of here, He reassured himself. "Maybe they all went to Hay Lin's house..." he said quietly. "She would need the most support. It's her grandmother, after all." He was still very quiet, afraid he might distract Elyon make her more angry. If he was the adult in this situation, then he should be the one calm, not angry.

"Hay lin!" Elyon repeated. It made sense, so she went to the silver dragon...

Perfect. That better be the case, I really don't want to waste anymore time in this place, he thought. The longer she stayed here, the more she'd refuse to come back to Meridian.

OOC: We didn't leave the funeral yet so we aren't sure whose house we are going to.

Cedric quickly remembered that the guardians hadn't left the funeral yet. "Elyon, wait, I think your friends are still at the funeral." He grabbed her from the shoulder.

!!! "What!?" Elyon nearly yelled out of surprise. Why in the world was she so scatterbrained? "R-Really!?" What's wrong with me? Why is this happening?
She leaned against the wall some more. She tried to sort things out, but failed. Her brain was like Will's room: one big pile of stuff. In her case, thoughts. Horrible thoughts... "I-I need to clear my head out!" she remarked. "Control... Everything's going out of it... I'm going out of it..." H-Help..!
Elyon looked down. She couldn't see them, but she felt how her legs started shaking. As if they had trouble keeping her weight up. She clumsilly turned around in order to go back to the cemetary, nearly tripped, butcorrected her pace just in time. Everything's going out of control... Me, Meridian, Heatherfield, Phobos, mom, dad, Cornelia, hay lin... Everything...! "Cedric..." she whispered, not quite certain if he could even hear her. "I-Is it just me, or does it feel really chilly here?"

Poor girl, was all Cedric thought. He had a sorry expression on his face.
It had been cold lately. The wind had a horrible chill to it today. But maybe that's because someone died and all sorts of things were going out of control.
Cedric knew what she was thinking, what was going through her head, even though he couldn't read minds. He knew perfectly well why she nearly tripped when she turned around. She couldn't control her own two legs. She couldn't control anything, and that's why he was there. But he wasn't doing his job, was he?
"It's freezing," he finally told her. Meridian, god I just want to go to Meridian, he kept thinking. Then it struck him. He finally realized why Elyon wanted to come here and she is always so hesitate about everything in Meridian.

"Good..." Elyon whispered. That's at least one thing she still had. Her sense for warmth and cold... She looked at Cedric and forced a smile, even though she was hardly visible. "Heh... Sorry. I'm... out of my rythim lately..." So out of my rythim... It's as if someone smashed my internal metronome with a mallet... "Say Cedric..."she started. "I just... I mean... You really don't need to follow me around. I was looking for Cornelia, and already have I dragged you through half of Heatherfield. So I understand if you'd rather stop following me around."
She took a few steps towards the cemetary again. "I'll be going back, and after that I'll probably be off to another part of Heatherfield, so I understand if you're tired of walking back and forth all the time..." She quickly ran for the cemetary again, not saying anything else...
Please let him come with me...

"...." Cedric was going to say that he wanted to follow her. That he hated Earth, but if she was there with him, he didn't feel completely lost. But Elyon hadn't given him the chance. She ran away.
He always reminded himself of a puppet. Constantly played around with by everyone, each and every person breaking at least one part of him. But when someone wasn't pulling his strings, he took no action. He stayed on the floor, completely limp until a new master was ready to play with him.
That's exactly what he was doing now. He didn't move, he just stood quietly, watching Elyon go farther and farther away from him. He wasn't tired of walking, he was tired of waiting. Tired of waiting for a master to mess with his strings.
So, for the first time, he acted only on what he wanted to do. He broke off his strings and ran after Elyon. No one told him to, it was just what he wanted to do.
"Elyon, wait for me!" He finally spoke words that were the truth and that he could understand. Then he did something he hadn't done in a long time. He smiled, and for once he was truly proud of himself.
