Vathek lacks the looks Jarod has. The guardians (Irma excluded) wouldn't have been as bashful as they were. Raythor's a little too busy to be posting at the moment & I know a certain someone who'd freak out if I Shapeshift a little more than I should. Miranda wasn't ordered to do anything after Phobos left her in the garden. Phobos merely guessed her feelings by how she looks at Lord Cedric when he was around, & let her act naturally. Why else would Phobos let Miranda go to the ball after she disobeyed a direct order? And yes, your reactions to Jarod's conversation was played down to luck. Just like another planned was ruined by misjudging Cedric's reaction to the bath scene. Phobos, show mercy? As if... Sure, have Lord Cedric accuse the guardians of killing Elyon. He'd be perfect for the job. (Actually, Cedric simply wouldn't have acted the part properly. He cares about Elyon too much. Vathek wouldn't have been much better either.) Vathek: "Um... Why would you want to fake Elyon's death & blame it on some servants?" *scratches his head like a moron* "Wouldn't it be easier to simply order them to be sent to the dungeons?"

In fact, I recall their first reaction upon seeing him being like 'Let's get out!' 'Okay! Thanks for getting me out of that tight spot.' And that's exacly what I said... Cedric is the man of lies. He can play any part properly if he puts his mind to it. The excuse you're looking for here is the ammount of distrust Elyon would get in him if she figured he'd accuse random people for a crime that didn't happen. And as for Vathek... C'mon! The rebels believed him when he said: 'I don't like Phobos anymore. I'll join you guys!'. And as far as I know, he accepted that job without too much trouble, including the confusion about why he'd need to trick people, instead of killing them or sending them to the dungeons. You know Vathek is much more competent than you make him out to be...

Oh I don't know, Will seemed quite playful with her choice of words. And that's not even the whole conversation. Lord Cedric is the only thing keeping Ellie in the palm of my hands. I wouldn't want to give her a reason to distrust him anytime soon. It's bad enough that she's starting to distrust me.

Lol You're the one who's making me distrust you. First you make in inescapably clear that you're up to something, but when questioned about it you refuse to spill the beans. Moving on, you have Phobos act plain weird.

That's just because Phobos is a weird character. Anyone who even considers killing his sister (especially one as pretty as Ellie) just to steal her power, must have some kind of mental issues.

I have no clue what you're getting at. First he's an angsty crying traumatised guy. Now he's mentally ill? Why can't he just be himself?

Maybe he was dropped to the floor too many times when he was a baby?

Hmmm... I'm not amused...
Still, I think both his TV and comics incarnation don't really act all that weird, angsty, mentally unstable or anything like that. Just scheming and manipulating...

Phobos really isn't weepy or unstable, he's just obsessed with power. I think the same goes for all the other comic villains excluding Ari, except for in the show. Yeah, Nerissa can be considered mentally insane there, as I have pointed out on W.i.t.c.h.Cast
