Miranda is a shapeshifter. She can be anything & anyone I choose to have her be. If she turns into a person, she'll have all the physical abilities of that person but none of their magical powers.
She can become Taranee but can't throw fireballs, a werewolf but can't regenerate, a dragon but can't breath fire, etc.
I'm sure you get the idea by now.

She is Lord Cedric's female counterpart, as such the comic version of her should have powers similar to his.

I have two good reasons why, in your described situation, Miranda would go for her spider form rather than some stupid wherehogwolf form...
1. She's much more familiar with her four-eyed, hairy, web-shooting, wallcrawling form than a random form that's just there for the fangs and nose... 2.
Right now, I'm thinking: 'a wherewolf, but without the sense of smell'. And in that light, she's not even following the trail!!
Two perfectly fine reasons why her spider form should be sufficient, and a lot less awkward.
And don't make me pull my Sub argument on you again! I get tired of using it, and I know you get tired of hearing it, so there's hardly any benefit in it for either of us...

And I'm getting tired of having my real characters locked in limbo or trapped in a stone, but I at least manage to avoid complaining. Since you refuse to let me give personalities to soldiers & use them while I wait to be able to use my characters, the subs will have to do.
The sense of smell is a physical characteristic (just like it's strength). She will have access to it.
Spiders have no sense of smell. Also, her spider form doesn't even come close to representing how furious she is. The werewolf fits her rage perfectly. Besides, Lord Cedric practically told her she was worthless & never wanted anything to do with her. Considering how her spider form would remind her of the hurt in those words, she isn't about to use that form anytime soon anyway.

Since you refuse to let me give personalities to soldiers & use them while I wait to be able to use my characters, the subs will have to do. I don't really care if the doorman likes Rice or cucomber better. I don't care if your bodyguard's name is Lucas or Frodow. I do care when you start considdering them more than Vathek or Caleb. And specifically in Jarod's case, I feel you are... So for all I care, give everyone in the castle names and personality and use them all you want! Just keep them in the role they're supposed to have, and don't randomly trust random soldier #78 more than your third in command, is all...

Who exactly is the third in command Phobos should trust?
Vathek is too stupid to be of much use. Raythor is too busy being in charge of the castle's security. Phobos is still waiting for Lord Cedric to set his hypno plan in motion. Miranda can't exactly be given a major part in a plan until she returns. (Even then, there's no guarrantee that she'd accept such a role.) Jarod has almost reached the end of his usefulness.
The one who bests fits the role is Kushiel, which explains why he's in charge of Plan C.

(Even then, there's no guarrantee that she'd accept such a role.) Jarod has almost reached the end of his usefulness. The one who bests fits the role is Kushiel, which explains why he's in charge of Plan C. That all depends on the situation off course. I for one don't think that Vathek is a dunce. Sure, he's probably slower than Phobos, Cedric and Caleb, but he also seems to be a lot smarter than most guards. I considder Vathek the third in command, since he's the right-hand man of Phobos' right-hand man. Naturally, if you really want to play him as an idiot who doesn't know apples from pears, I won't stop you. I'll note that, since Vathek was left in charge of the ball, he might've been a fine choice for plan-executing minion in the ballroom instead of Jarod. But that's what I think of the situation... Raythor is also a case of under-postage. I'm pretty sure that with a bit of asking around, you could easilly get him out of security duties and into the lead of plan B, C or even D. Well, Cedric is your right-hand man off course. I just feel weirded out by the fact that you cheat on your right-hand man when you're not in your moment of glory yet, by implying to have him distracted by another minion. Can't you just order him to close his eyes for a moment? I mean: he's still loyal to you right now... Though since I suppose the Hypnosis plan is probably an important one (DO correct me if I'm wrong) then I guess I should shut up about Cedric, since you left him at the right spot: in charge of a plan. I don't recall Miranda having been ordered to distract Cedric either, so my guess is you played it down to luck that she would, and accidentally aid to the Jarod-scheme. Whatever. I wouldn't know. What were we talking about again? Yes, by all means. DO spare the chump and let him go back into almost-anonimity. It'd be a shame to have so many minions lost because of one night, and it certainly beats quartering him. Who's Kushiel? Point is: right now I considder Jarod and this 'kushiel' person, to be aforementioned nameless soldiers #53 and #78. Especially Jarod, who appears to have been in charge of cheating on Cedric, accuse the guardians and totally play it down on luck on how I would react. It seems odd that you didn't just send in Cedric or Vathek to do the trick...
