Day 11, friday The day is getting along nicely...
[enter: Elyon from Sheffield's Library]
Turning back into her normal, visible self on the way, Elyon arrived at the museum. The first place she went to was the art gallery. Where else would one find a painting? "Never-ending spring..." she said to herself. "Elias van Dahl..." According to Cedric, those were the names of the painting and it's artist respectively. Also according to Cedric, Van Dahl was once a court painter in Meridian, sealed in his own work. The name sounded like that of a dutchman though...
Walking through the gallery, the princess remembered times when she used to draw or paint. A hobby she could keep up for hours straight if her mind was set to it. It helped her straighten things out. Escape from all the disapointments of real life for a while. Forget about all those -what she now started considdering- trivial things, like math homework or nasty lunches or unrequited crushes. She started thinking about continuing that trend again. With the whole Phobos deal and abandoning Metamoor, the girl wouldn't mind spending a few hours on a drawing to sort it all out. Perhaps later... she thought. When I have some time on my hands...
Elyon realised that she hadn't discarded all those memories yet. And in fact, she was glad she didn't. Art was one thing that will always remain the same. Art was a thing she could always fall back on. Heatherfield or Meridian... It was her art where Elyon felt most at home in the end...

After a bit of strolling around the gallery, the princess found the painting she was looking for. Never-ending spring. It was a painting of a medival European town, with hunderds of people smiling and laughing while dealing with their daily business on a square in front of a large Gothic-looking cathedral. Quite the cheerful scene.
But Elyon could sense it. There was a faint magic coming from the canvas. It was the Metamoorian kind of magic. The magic taht connected Heatherfield and Meridian through portals. Elyon smiled another tiny smile. If this painting was a portal... Then the girls would come to it like bees to honey. All she had to do was ensure it would attract attention. But not with all these people and security cameras around, of course...
She looked around, thinking about how to get rid of everyone easilly. A little bit of senseless panic would probably do the trick. So Elyon looked up at the lights in the ceiling. If she could cause all that chaos in Phobos' throne hall, then this should be cake.
Suddenly, the lights dimmed for a moment. Then they lighted again, before erratically flickering. The security cameras instantly shut down and in the flickering lights, people started seeing lizard-like shapes moving across the floors and walls. Ominous winds swept across the gallery when the lights failed again as the sound of shattering glass and pottery tried to make themselves hearable among the screams. People were panicing as if their lives depended on it. And it got only worse when Elyon's magic started influencing their minds to make them panic even more. If this wouldn't do the trick, then nothing would...

"AAAAH!" "MONSTERS!!" "EEEEK!"
The screams were almost deafening, especially to Elyon with her brand-new magical senses. With the crowd in blind panic, nobody bothered to notice how the teenager rolled her eyes at the crowd. Gosh, they're so easilly manipulated...
In the commotion, the girl quietly left the gallery, overhearing people threatning to call the police and health department on her way out. Perfect Elyon thought. I wonder how long it will take before any of the girls catch wind of this... When security gets here and finds absolutely nothing, that would just scream magic, wouldn't it? The perfect bait for a fivesome of magical creatures...

[Andrew & Will: Enter from Dinosaur Exhibit] Will follows Elyon's scent to the room. A security officer stops her by the police tape. "Sorry, Miss. This area's off limits." Will ignores him & attempts to walk around. "Hey!" He grabs her shoulder. "I said you can't go in there." She glares at him. "Get your hand off me!""Hey hey hey! What's going on?" Andrew asks asks as he finally catches up. "This human is getting in my way.""A vandal trashed the place earlier this morning. The area's off limits until the police finish with their investigation." The officer informs them. "Like I care about some petty investigation." She pulls from his grip & storms into the room. "Hey, wait!" The guard yells. He is about to follow the teenager when Andrew stops him. "She just wants to look at a few paintings." Andrew says as he takes out a hundred dollar bill from his wallet. "Is there really any harm in just looking?" "Um, no." The guard agrees as he accepts the bribe & pockets it. "This conversation never happened." "Of course." Andrew goes to look for Will. Will follows Elyon's scent to the Meridian painting. Of all the paintings, why is it she only chose to look at this one?

Wait! If Elyon was here earlier today, then that means... Will's eyes suddenly go wide with fear. Oh no!"Hey, Will. Find a painting you like?" Andrew asks as he finds her. Will looks at Andrew. "Take me to Elyon's house." "W-what? But the museums open for another hour." Andrew pleads. "I don't care." Will storms away. "I'll walk there if I have to.""That won't be necessary. I'll drive." Andrew runs after her. They get in the car & leave. [Andrew & Will: Exit to The Front Yard]
