It's been little more than a week ago since I saw my dear friend, the previous Elyon, online on the previous RPG... It pains me to see that she hasn't returned since... Even though it was to be expected...
When I last spoke to her, (Pm-ed, of course), she appologized more than once for things that, in my opinion, had no need for apologies. She had said several times that she was crying. I felt... a certain ammount of despair come from her words then. Eventually, I asked the invitable... It had to come sometime after all... "What will you be doing now?" Regrettably enough, she answered: "I'll be leaving, I suppose, unless I find Phobos somehow. I'ts such a right moment to go, right before it all breaks apart, right?" A few PM's later, I recieved this as a reply to one of my requests: "I want to just disappear and never come back. That's what I need, won't you understand? (...) I'm so ashamed to say so, but I would never lie to you. Please, I'm so sorry for what I'm saying. I'm so sorry!" It pained me, and it still does in fact. But I can kinda understand, and so I respect her choice as much as I respect her...
Sorrowful news as it might be, there is very, very little hope she will be back. Even though the RPG managed to pull off another day without her, I'll miss her intensely.
That's why I made this thread. So that we do not forget what a wonderful person she was. Not only was it her RPG where we all met each other. She was also kindhearted, a pleasant person to converse with, and quite likely loving too. With her departure, departs not only a character in the old RPG. Not just an admin. Not just a wonderful roleplayer... But also a dear friend...
During my (so far) final conversation with her, I explicitally mentioned several times that I won't say farewell to her. Instead leaving her with a 'see you around' which came from the bottom of my heart.
People who knew her shouldn't forget what a valuable friend she was...
"You are my friend! I love you for that!"
That was what she said in her final PM. And I feel the same way about her...
Call it a final salute of sorts if you please... I wish to start reminding everyone of her by placing one of her RPG posts here. This particular one was one of my personal favorites, and I considder it to be a fine example of how well she could roleplay... Enjoy.
"But you're not my parents."
! ! !
Elyon's voice was as grave and broken as a raven's, and gave the Browns quite a start! So much, in fact, that Mr. Brown nearly skipped a heartbeat, not to mention the turn on the road, hearing the voice as hateful as the pair of eyes belonging to the girl in the backseat of the car. The mirror up front reflected her figure, illuminated suddenly by the flash of lightning. Elyon disappeared just as quick, and the thunder roared in the darkness.
...
To miss a curve is all it takes to cause a car accident, especially in horrible weather like that night's. The Brown's car spun over the wet road perhaps two, or three times before colliding with a tree. Of course, no one was in the state of mind to count, or clearly hear the following yells:
"You're Not!!" screamed the girl.
Eleanor and Thomas abandoned their smoking car and scrambled blindly through the thick blinding rain, turning and turning. Because the voice came from every direction!
"You LIED!!" Screamed Elyon from behind, and the traitors fell backward. The looked wide-eyed at the girl before them, surely, not their Elyon? Could those burning eyes belong to their daughter!? That crazed, feverish stare, and flared mouth!?
"E-Elyon, listen, please!!" Thomas covered his eyes from the pounding rain. "Please, listen to us.."
But the wreck behind them burst into searing flames! Eleanor clasped Alborn's arm. Alborn's arm, and looked at the distance.
"Alborn, it isn't her! That's not our Elyon!!" She screamed above the rain and roaring flames.
Mr. Brown, Thomas, Alborn, turned to his wife to speak, and saw her mad and frenzied stare. He turned in return to that direction, and froze as well.
Sinister.. sinister eyes before them both! Not belonging to Elyon, but to the man at the distance. That tall shadow, with those glowing, sinister eyes. Cedric, they noticed, had beaten them despite all their efforts...
"You kept me in a lie!" Elyon wailed (she had been wailing and screaming all along). She felt her hate radiate, and she felt it take over. Was it consuming her? No matter. She fed it none the less. It was power, and it did radiate (or rather burn) inside her. "And I never knew!!" She screamed above the rain, flames, and cries from the traitors.
"But now I do!.." The intoxicating energy took over! Oh, it was likely to kill her, it hurt so much!!
"Aughh!!" Elyon screamed at the top of her lungs and focused all of her passion into releasing it all.
And so it happened! The force rushed out of her outstretched hands and into the world. Onto the traitors, who sobbed and embraced (she would've called it love, if there was such a thing). Hugging fiercely, the two who taught Elyon to live a lie Disappeared. Vanished, into thin air. Nothing.
But Elyon's energy didn't! It increased, with every thought that rushed through her mind! The energy shot out like a river, or like a gun going off!
I did it.. I ..
And the powers syphoned from her at a deadly rate, shaking her all over. Eventually, she stopped though, as she had lost it all. Elyon collapsed onto the soaked road outside of Aubry and her conscience left her...
