Now that most of the soldiers are done eating, the band begins to play a romantic Meridian tune. The soldiers grab the prettiest servant girls & begin to dance. The rebels & the remaining servants continue to eat. Rarely is a feast as great as this ever provided for them. As such, they intend to make the most of it.

"You don't need to appologize..." Elyon stated. "You can't help it...' She sighed, and let her fork rest on her plate for a moment... "I think I'll go back to bed after dinner, or something... After all, there's some stuff I need to discuss with Phobos tomorrow too..." "Would you like me to take you up to your room after you're done?" He was still worried about the guardians convincing her to come back. He also wanted to spend just a couple of minutes more with her...

Elyon began to smile. Finally a true smile after everything that had happened... "I'd like that..."

He smiled too. Despite everything, she was happy now, and that was all that mattered. He finished the rest of his meal while Elyon ate hers.

The plates quickly emptied, and a lot of guests quickly went for a second serving. After all, it wasn't often that they had the chance to eat such a royal dish, let alone in these ammounts...
The band's accompanying music turned progressively more calm, as if they too were ready to end this royal ball at a mere word of a superior.
Elyon herself merely waited for that word... After all, she was the guest of honour... No doubt ther should be something she should say or do before the guests leave. She felt rather happy. Despite everything that ahppened, the guests seemed to enjoy themselves. It made her feel like this feast hasn't been made atotal fiasco by Jarod at all...

"You know Elyon, if you're tired, you could just wrap the ball with a friendly 'goodnight.' It doesn't have to be a speech or anything, just say you enjoyed the ball and hoped everyone else did too." He smiled encouragingly; she looked very tired.

Hearing Lord Cedric's words, the rebels get excited.
Rebels: "Speech! Speed! Speech!" *pound table with fists* "Speech! Speed! Speech!" *pound table with fists* "Speech! Speed! Speech!"

As the rebels started making their noise, the guests soon followed, wanting to finally hear their future queen speak in public, and not really certain what else to do anyway... Elyon briefly glared, but Cedric didn't really seem to think too much of it. "They're from the rebellion, Elyon..." he whispered, staring at the rebels with disapproval in his eyes. "You don't have to answer to them..."
However, Elyon decided against ignoring the demand for a speech. It wasn't just the rebels she'd answer too, but the other guests as well... "I, uhm..." she carefully started. Not having prepared any dialogue at all, Elyon just had to make it up as she went... "I want to thank you all for being here tonight... And, ehm... For making this ball enjoyable for everyone." the princess rose from her seat now and continued... "I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, despite some, uhm... 'incidents', that occured. I want to thank the kitchen workers, for preparing this delicous meal for us to enjoy... The band, for their good efforts. The decoratoin crew, who made this room as fabulous as it is now. And the cleaning staff, who's work will begin when the party's over..." The guests briefly let out a laugh at this, and the servants in question felt rather proud that their work was not forgotten... "I want to thank the rebellion, for lowering their weapons and setting aside differences for a night. I want to thank sir Vathek and lord Cedric... Without their leadership and coordination, the night went by almost perfectly... And most of all, I want to thank the one who made this night possible, and who unfortunately couldn't be here with us..." She lifted her glass, prompting the guests and rebels to do the same. "Prince Phobos!"
For a moment there was an awkward silence, striking Elyon with doubt and insecurity once again... Did she say something wrong? Why didn't they do anything? At this point, Cedric stepped in, raising his glass as well. "Yes! To prince Phobos!" Reluctantly, the guests followed. "To prince Phobos!" "To the prince!" "To Phobos!" In no time, the ballroom managed to fill itself with cheers and chants for Phobos. Except for the rebels... They kept silent...
"I wish you all a good night!" Elyon concluded her first speech to the Meridian people, a smile returning to her face as the cheers went on. "Thanks, Cedric..." she whispered to her blonde saviour. "My pleasure." he whispered back. "Sleep well, princess."
However, on her way to the doors, Elyon made sure to pass at least one of the rebels. "Before you go..." she started, not looking at the man. "Come see me. I need to talk to you rebels for a moment..." With that, Elyon continued her way to the doors, looking back just once more... Cedric seemed pretty content with her performance... Or at the very least, with it's conclusion...

The soldiers & servants clap after the speech. However, the rebels do not. The mere mention of Phobos seems to have put them in a sour mood. They go back to filling their stomachs.

Cedric yawned and decided he was tired too. With all of the officials ready for bed, the guests began to stand up and leave, and the rebels were off to follow Elyon. Of course she wasn't going to just let tonight go. She was suspicious, as a real queen would be.
As Elyon had mentioned, servants began clearing the tables and such.
He set off for his chambers, imagining the isolating green drapes over bed, pratically calling his name...

Phobos gave a small snicker, staring at the rebels, shoveling foo into themselves.
That's right, he thought, Eat. Make yourselves weak and defenseless. You will make the perfect prisoners....And, eventually, the perfect slaves! And I assure you, this will be the last true meal that any of you will ever eat.

Most of the rebels don't seem to be in any hurry. They shoo away the servants when they attempt to clear away the table. However, one rebel ( i91.photobucket.com/albums/k313/honest21hero/WITCH/EC-04.jpg ) had his eye on Elyon the entire evening. He stands up a minute after Cedric leaves. Wali: "I think I'm going to go for a walk." The other rebels dismiss him with a nod. He leaves the room. [Wali: Exit to Halls]

[Wali: Enter from Halls] He walks up to the other rebels. Wali: "We must go now." Rebel C: "Yeah yeah," *takes a bite of roast beast* "Maybe when the food is..." Wali yanks the rebel from the table & throws him toward the door. Rebel F: "Hey!" *stands up to glare at Wali* "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Wali: "We are going now." Rebel F: "To hell with you!" *spits in Wali's face* "You don't have the authority to make such dec..." Wali reaches under the dudes armor & grabs his groin. Rebel F: Wali: "We go now." Rebel F: "Are you mad? Let go of my..." He yelps as Wali instantly squeezes 10x harder. Wali: "We are leaving the castle now." Rebel F (squealing like a girl): "Okay! Okay! We'll go!" Wali releases him. All the other rebels clean their hands with napkins, then stand up. They leave the room. [Rebels: Exit to Halls]

Soldiers stop whatever it is they're doing & draw their swords as they rush into the halls.
