This is the room where Elyon's Ball will take place. It looks like the one in Beauty and the Beast.
Needless to say, tihs is Phobos' least favorite room.

Phobos sneered as he looked around the room. "I will have to bear this room's hideousness," he said to himself, "for one night only. I hope that this is a short party."

[Enter: Cedric from Cedric's Chamber]
Once he stepped into the Castle Ballroom, the golden light coming from all around reflected on his robes. Green, red, yellow and black now with golden shadows. Cedric looked up at the high chandeliers to see how everything could be gold at once.
"Wow, this party will something," he commented half-asleep. He looked away to scan the rest of the place when he spotted a most unwanted sight. "Oh, Prince Phobos, good morning."
He bowed as he could've cared less about his presence. Honestly, if it weren't for his powers, Cedric would have nothing to do with Phobos.

Phobos ignored Cedric. Ah, he thought, My weak-minded companion. He will play a big part in my plans.
"Good morning, Lord Cedric," He said, plastering a fake smile on his face, "How did you sleep?"

"Well." It was terse, no explainations. "So this is Elyon's ballroom. I sure hope she enjoys it. After all, we are going to take her life from her, so we should make the best of her last days."
Honestly, Cedric didn't want Elyon to die. It started off as a faint suggestion at the beginning of the mission, now his spirit was becoming more and more determined to stop her from dying.

"I hope she does too. It would be wrong to take her life without her having some sense of joy beforehand." His smile widened. "After all, she is family." Suddenly his smile turned to a frown. "I can read your mind, Cedric," Phobos reminded him, "If you do anything to foil my plans, then you will die as well as her."

"I don't think I'd mind dying with her," Cedric dared to say. Was he truly a servant, a slave? Was this monster really his master? Or just his boss? There is a difference. "Who knows, Phobos? Maybe I'll do something crazy and unexpected."
He turned to Phobos slowly, his face was gray and he was wide-eyed, dark, deep circles beneath his eyes. "You can read my mind, but you can't necessarily read my emotions."

Phobos smiled. "If you want," he said, "I'll kill you right now. Then when your little love mate comes in here, I'll kill her too. That is what you want, isn't it?"

Cedric softened his eyes and the color of his skin came back. "No, I will not have Elyon die today. Her death shall be delayed as much as possible."
He looked down. "Why do you hate your sister so much?"

"I don't hate her." Phobos looked down. "I just need her powers, and if I have to kill her to get them, then so be it." He walked toward Cedric. "Why do you love her?"

Cedric flinched up and gave Phobos a terrified but also sad and longing face. "I..."
There was no answer for it. He'd been trying to hide it, acting as if there was only a friendship between the two, but Phobos could see through Cedric, as if he were transparent. "Don't ask me that. I can't answer you."
He looked down again. He wanted Elyon to be here. He wanted to look in her eyes, and watch her braids swing back and forth. He wanted to hear her comforting voice, the features of an angel.

Phobos snapped his fingers, pulling him out of his dream world. "I will let her live," he said. He knew that was what Cedric wanted to hear. "But only if you obey my every order exactly as I say them. If not, you can kiss your little 'angel' goobye." He turned to leave the ballroom, sneering at it one last time.
Obey me or not, though, he thought, she still must die.

"I will," Cedric called after him sadly. He took a seat in one of the "golden" chairs. Honestly, he was lucky Elyon didn't come in and over-hear what they'd just been discussing. He didn't want to think about what could've happened if she did. First thing's first, she probably feels nothing for Cedric. Maybe just safe with him, or that's he's familiar. And does he really love her as well? Or did he did just hate Phobos that much?
He wasn't quite sure if this would be the place she walked in first, but he had a good guess that it could be. She had to be curious as to where her party was taking place.

Outside of the ballroom, Phobos put his hands on Elyon's shoulders. "Elyon," he said, "There's something I need to tell you."

"Oh...?" Elyon was clearly taken back by this. "Okay. But what's with the sudden change of air?"
