[Enter: Cedric and Elyon from Elyon's Chamber]
The place smelled of freshly baked cookies and bread and the air in the room had a sugary taste to it. Candled chandeliers lit the room and left all of the sprinkled pastries sparkling. The whole room was sweet and dazzling, and Cedric was sure Elyon would like it.
"Take your pick, princess," he said with his sweetest smile.

Elyon's eyes brighted up as she whitnessed the large collection of sweets and other yummies. But she didn't want to 'over-snack' however. Regardless of how much she would eat now, she had to start somewhere. And that somewhere was with the cookies. She reached out to take one, but stopped and took her hand back, staring at it as she remembered what happened in the basement. "Uhm... Cedric?" she carefully started. "Do you know how I did that in the basement? When I just held out my hand, and the girls got blown away? And do you think I could use it the other way around too?"

Elyon pulled back at the cookie she was about to eat and the sparkle in her eyes disappeared with that question: "Do you think I could use it the other way around, too?"
Cedric stood stunned and concerned for just a minute. Then he finally told her, "I'm actually not completely sure. Your brother would know, he has your powers. And he knows a lot about you, more than I could possibly, anyway."
He took in a taste of sugar with each word he spoke. "I'm sure you could, if you can manage to reverse your other powers. In the meantime, I think you should just eat a snack and relax."
He stared up at one of the golden chandeliers for a time and smiled. "You worry too much."

Elyon looked at her hand some more, but eventually nodded. "You're right." She quickly took a bite from her cookie, and the sparkle returned. Just like the Meridian dinner, the Meridian cookie was... Delicious!! How did they make these? She quickly took another bite, carefully chewing on it, and releasing the sweet flavour in her mouth as much as possible.

Cedric smiled with satisfactory as he too grabbed a treat. A Fondant au Chocolat, to be exact.
Delicious as always, Cedric thought after taking a bite.
Once he bit it, a crack in the soft, chewy bread formed, releasing all of the melting, unbelievable-tasting chocolate filling.
He felt a slight breeze, remembering the vast window that was always left open in the room, just so people could get some air. After all, the Dessert Chamber was more like a mini-cafe, where people relaxed and ate treats. Most of the time people ponder on their day or have small conversations. But Cedric came in to eat and stare out at the clouds, as he did right now.
"Watching the clouds move by while chewing on snacks. It's great, isn't it, Elyon?"

Elyon came up next to him to do just that. Staring at the clouds for a moment. She swallowed her bite from earlier and nodded. "Yes it is." I can't believe that I wanted to go away from here this morning...

Staring at the clouds made Cedric think about things, as usual. And so...
I just want to be close to Elyon forever...
He did something unexpected. He wrapped his arm around Elyon, bringing her closer to him. Now Elyon leaned on Cedric, both of them staring at the many-shaped clouds flying by.

"Pardon my interuption..."
It was Phobos. He wore a smile and eyes that half hid behind his heavy eyelids. As he approached them, his robes hissed against the floor.
"...Elyon, but I believe you'd be glad to know that dinner is served!"
He said this coolly, with the tone proud host might don, as his eyes gradually shifted to Cedric.

"Phobos!' Elyon called. She dashed away from the window in order to hug her brother. "I'm so sorry for everything I did this morning. But now I'm home. Where I belong." She looked up at his warm smile. After all these years, it was difficult to believe she had a brother. But she really had, and his name is Phobos. "Here, with you and Cedric..."

Cedric smiled as well and walked over to Phobos and his sister, tapping the floor as his white-and-torquised-robed uniform riffled in the low, dusty air.
"Let us all rejoice Elyon's return with dinner, shall we?" Cedric put his hand on Elyon's shoulder and looked back at Phobos.
He took in a silent deep breath. It was true. Elyon's small mission to Earth was an intense one, even Cedric found the entire journey agonizing. But now is now, and what was was. After such a long trip they were finally in Meridian again, and all Cedric looked forward to was eating.
"Go on, I'll follow you. After such a day, I want you and your brother to talk and not have me in the way," Cedric told Elyon.
He took a step back. The breeze from the window still tagged on his shoulder. He turned back to it.
The clouds are so calm today, he stared at them one last time, amazed at how chaotic the day was but how the sky had not been effected by it. The sky is so optimistic...
Finally he turned in Phobos and Elyon's direction: out the door and straight to dinner.
[Exit: Cedric to the Dining Hall]
