[Phobos: Enter from The Court of Whisperers]

[Alaric: Enter from Castle Ballroom]
He returns to his post at the door.

Bored, the dark prince's mind begins to wander.
Phobos: Why am I wasting my time by watching this horrendous excuse for a ball? Cedric & Miranda are more than capable of telling me the details later. *browses through images in the magical pool (as if it were a television) until he finds Will's astral drop sitting on Andrew's lap* Interesting...
He watches the events that are about to unfold.

[Enter: Elyon (invisible) from the Castle's hallways]
She was right. That's twice in a row. But it's only natural. As strange as it may sound, no matter what happened in the palace, Elyon always found herself returning to the Throne room, so the surrounding halls started to get increasingly more familiar. More than any other chamber in the palace, at least...
She closed her eyes, sighed, gathered her courage, and knocked the large ornamented doors. Could he be anywhere else? Elyon thought to herself, as she slowly pushed the door open...

Something knocks on the large ornamented doors.
Alaric: "Huh?" *turns around to look behind* Odd... There's no one there. But I could've sworn...
The door slowly starts to open on its own.
Alaric: "What the hell...?"
He scratches the back of his head as he watches.

Not paying much attention to the confused sentry, Elyon entered the actual throne hall itself and closed the door behind her. Odds were that the soldier would blame the wind for opening and closing the door.
Her brother, however, clearly was more on his guard, and Elyon could barely see how Phobos blanked out his viewing pool once more. She couldn't blame him. After all, everyone needs their alone time...
Slowly, Elyon became visible again, in response for the imminent 'Who is there!?' that Phobos would throw her way...

Phobos is busy watching the viewing pool until he senses the presence of someone entering & looks up. Upon seeing no one enter, he uses his telepathy to feel around for nearby spirits & recognizes that of his sister. He leaves the image on the pool.
Phobos: "You may show yourself if you like, Ellie. I know you're here."
She appears. He approaches her.
Phobos: "What brings you here?" *kneels down & hugs her with fake affection* "Is the ball not to your liking?"

Elyon responded to Phobos' embrace with a hug of her own. Even though he obviously was her brother, she hugged him more like she would hug a friend. She didn't know why...
"I just had to get away from it for a moment." Elyon admitted. "Everyone there knows me, but I know no one there..." She sighed. Everyone in the ballroom probably thought of her as a screwup. After all, she didn't even know the names of high officers, and even mispronounced one.
"But enough about me for now." she tried. "Why aren't you in the ballroom enjoying yourself?"

Phobos: "Me? Prancing around a ballroom like a buffoon?" *laughs* "I've better things to do. For example," *places a hand gently behind her back as he guides her to the viewing pool* "There is nothing more amusing than spying on people. And now that you're here..." *points at Andrew* "Please tell me everything you know about that boy."

There was truth in what Phobos said, and to be honest, she had suspected an answer like that. He was the big mighty monarch, so even with these festivities going on, there had to be a lot on his mind. Not to mention that stupid rebellion that wanted to screw everything over...
But Phobos was apparently busy with stuff that she didn't expect. As the powerful prince guided Elyon to his viewing pool and questioned her about the boy pictured in it, Elyon couldn't help but notice that Will Vandom was also pictured in the pool. But how? Just a few minutes ago, she was...
"I don't know much about him..." Elyon admitted. She was more the Matt-type after all... "His name is Andrew and he's supposed to be a popular boy... That's about everything I know. Why do you ask?"

Phobos: "That depends..." *takes his attention from the pool to stare at the sparkling, sapphire eyes of his dear sister* "Does he mean anything to you?"

Elyon was reluctant to answer... Off course Andrew meant hardly anything to her. She never really met the guy, and just saw him walk by once, getting all the information on him through Irma... "Why do you need to know?" she asked again, staring back at him. "What are you planning to do?"

Phobos: "If you haven't learned already, Ellie. I need to know everything. It's in my nature." *wraps an arm around her waist* "It's not like you to avoid the question. Is there some special reason why you don't want to tell me?"
He smiles at her teasingly, as if he thinks she's afraid to admit she's jealous or in love.

Elyon shook her head in disagreement. "No, there isn't..." She admitted. "I just don't see why you'd want to know..." Something about Phobos' 'need to know everything' seemed odd. Why Andrew, of all people? If he asked Matt, she could moderately understand, but Andrew... "But since you really need to know: There's nothing going on between him and me. We've never even properly met..."

Phobos: "Good."
He takes his hand off Elyon & goes back to watching the pool.
