Phobos smiled when he heard her thought. "And now, my sister," he said in a sweet tone, "You are actually standing in my shadow." He was standing directly behind her so that his shadow would cover her almost entirely. "Come," he said with a smile, "the ballroom is this way." He took her hand and led her to the room she was looking for.

"Ah!" Elyon called. Where in the world did he come from so suddenly? "D-Did I really said that aloud?" she asked, clearly caught off-guard. And as she followed her brother out the throne hall, she looked back at the throne one more time, before focussing on the castle's hallways, and how they connected. Hopefully, she would be able to take the right turn next time...

[Enters from Castle Ballroom]
What happened back there? Phobos thought as he sat on his throne. Everything was perfect. She would have turned against Cedric, and I would be able to attain her power. He sighed. "I guess," he said aloud, "that a part of me really does care about her." He looked down at his feet. "But whether I care or not, she still must die."

[Enter Sandpit]
A howling wind blew into the thone room as a mound of sand formed before Phobos. It took shape and bowed its head.

"Hello, Sandpit," Phobos said, smiling evilly, "I have a small task for you." He pulled out an envelope. "Take this," he said, "and put it somewhere the rebels will find it. Then report back to me for further instructions."

He took the envelope in his sandy grasp. Slowly it disappeared within him.
"What is this milord?" asked the walking mound of sand in a hoarse voice.

"An invitation to Elyon's ball," he explained, "Tell them that I want to make a truce with them."

"Where exactly can I find these vermin?"

Phobos was asking himself the same thing. "Hmmm," he said, "Perhaps you could find the passling and give it to him."

OOC: Um does Phobos or any of the guards for that matter known the entrance to the Infinite City?

OOC: I don't think we can do that.

OOC: Tridy has a point. It might be more practical to set up something to where sandpit could find a rebel and give the invitation since Phobos doesn't even know if we've met the rebels or not (which we haven't, yet). Or maybe he'll meet Blunk and give him the invitation?

"Very well then milord. I will seek out the wretched passling and deliver the invitation."
The mound of sand bowed its head as it slowly disintegrated in search of the passling.

"And while you do that," Phobos said to himself, "I'll go see how my 'loyal' subject and sister are doing." With that, he rose and walked out of the throne room.

[Enters: Phobos from Bath Tower]
Phobos sat on his throne. He was impatient, but knew he had to wait. He never liked waiting. It felt so...peasant-like. But now he had no choice. He had to wait for the right moment. He had to wait to turn Elyon against Cedric.
