Day 10... Roughly a few hours after lunch...
[Enter: Elyon and Caleb from Phobos' throne hall]
With the flower in hand, Elyon wandered the palace's halls, looking for a new vase - or prefferably a servant who could look in her stead. The increasingly straining relationship she has with her brother had to wait, as her thin patience got shoved aside to make room for worry about the plant's well-being.
As she searched, Elyon thought about how she hadn't seen any trace of Cedric yet... He tends to be the one to get her to sit through her brother's new inflated-baboon behaviour. The man she met a week ago was somehow gone, and instead he had begun doing all these weird things, with violent mood swings and a horribly scarred image... Even though it scared her off at first, making him feel more like a stranger than a brother, Elyon now longed for the moment Phobos would get his mind straight again and reestablish his cool and collected appearance. Perhaps, if it takes him too long, she should try and see if another good blow to the back of his head could do the trick?
Her mind had wandered off into another subject, and Elyon quickly snapped herself back to the matter at hand. And with a renewed focus on finding a vase, or servant, she left contemplating the past week for a later time...

Not long thereafter...
Elyon had a stroke of luck, and ran into a small group of servants, cleaning and polishing the furniture in a rarely-used part of the west wing. Upon seeing the princess in their presence, they all stopped what they were doing to greet her. "Y-Y-Your highness!" "Good afternoon, your highness!" "To what do we owe this honour, your highness?"
Quickly, Elyon shook off her confusion about finding people in this otherwise deserted part of the palace and continued to establish herself as their superior. "To this." she replied, holding up the flower for the threesome to see. "Someone broke it's vase. It needs a new one." One of the servants immediately bowed. "Please, your highness. Grant us the honour of completing this task for you." Exactly what Elyon had hoped for. "Well, I suppose you could..." she said, faking hesitancy. "It would be a privilege!" Another servant added, already stepping forward to take the flower from her princess... "Very well. Be sure to bring it back to the thr--" Elyon stopped for a moment... "... to my chambers, once you're done." "Immediately, your highness!"
With a sly smile on her lips, Elyon retraced her steps back to the throne hall. These three servants would take care of the chore for her...
[Exit: Elyon to the Throne hall]
