Just a moment later...
[Enter: Phobos and Elyon from the Throne hall]
Walking out the throne hall's large ornamented doors, Elyon found herself in the hallways again. Her mind devastated by the visions Phobos showed her. Phobos would show her around the castle for a bit until Cedric comes back... As such, all she did was quietly follow the prince, secretly hoping he could show her something that would take her mind of her worries...

Elyon said nothing. She merely nodded and awaited what her brother would do...
Was Cedric here yet?

[Enter: Cedric and Elyon from Elyon's Home]
"We're here," Cedric said, feeling safe and content for once. He was finally back in Meridian, a familiar place, and with Elyon, the one he always wanted to be with. "We're home."
Cedric put his hand on the wall, almost forgetting what it felt like because the mission took so long. It truly was agonizing...
He looked up, down and all around. He hadn't really realized until now how labyrinth-like the prince's castle was. There was at least one hall leading in all directions, and more inside of them. But Cedric had lived in the castle for a long time, almost as long as he knew Phobos. He knew the entire castle by heart.
"Come with me," Cedric said, holding out a reassuring hand to Elyon.
She's probably exhausted...
"Let's go to your chambers."

Castle hallways. Only a few minutes until the ball...
As Elyon wandered through the castle hallways once again, on her way to find Cedric, she quickly lost sight of the five servants, who made apparent haste in getting wherever they needed to be. It only took a moment however, before Elyon saw a large blue man walk around the hallways as well. His arms were big and muscled, his face was covered in these bone-like... things... and his clothes were of pretty high quality...
Not noticing the princess in the far end of an intersection, the blue man bee-lined towards it's goal. His rather big built and fine clothes looked different from all the other blue men in this world... Was he... a captain of some sorts? Then it suddenly hit her... The big man was probably on his way to Phobos' throne hall. She could recognize the intersection she was standing in. And while Cedric could be pretty much everywhere in the palace, Phobos would rarely stray far away from the throne hall... With that in mind, the young princess set out to follow the large Galhot to the throne, although she fell behind rather quickly. It didn't matter too much though... Elyon could recognize the throne hall doors by now... At least, she hoped she could...

[Phobos, Vathek & two soldiers: Enter from Throne Room]
They all stop to stare at Princess Elyon in her new dress. Master Jinks the Tailor has done a wonderful job at making the outfit reveal Elyon's hidden beauty. Perhaps a little too well? Even Phobos' heart is filled with desire at the mere sight of his sister. While the soldiers gawk at her & trace her figure with their eyes, Phobos walks toward her. He doesn't walk like an arrogant ruler, like he usually does. It's more like he's in a trance. Once he reaches Elyon, he kneels on one knee, kisses her on the cheek, then hugs her--not a fake hug like all the other times before this but a genuine hug filled with affection.
Phobos (almost a whisper): "Oh Ellie... My sweet sweet Ellie..."
Vathek, the only one not gawking at Elyon (since his definition of beauty is somewhat different from that of a human), merely awaits orders as he stands at attention.

Elyon couldn't help but look up surprised as Phobos not only left his throne hall, but also proceeded to show her some affection. Without saying a word, she returned the hug of her brother, looking over his shoulder at the five servants who were with him. Certainly, the girls' disguises would be more efficient if the number five didn't keep haunting them. Elyon quickly passed the five of them a dark, slightly triumphant glare. This was supposed to be the evil selfish tyrant Will described earlier?
Finally releasing the prince from her arms, Elyon directly got to the point. "Phobos... Have you seen Cedric? I couldn't really find him myself..."

He is over-come with joy as she returns his hug. Phobos : It feels warm. So... So... Refreshing. In fact, he is even a little disappointed when she pulls away. Phobos: "And here I was hoping you came all this way to be with your brother..." Her eyes are so enticing... *stands up* "Who am I kidding? Of course, you'd come looking for Cedric." And that outfit! I never thought she could look so lovely. "We just finished our meeting. He should be on his way out of the throne room." Wretched Cedric! If only I had gone to fetch Ellie & left him here as my regent, then she wouldn't wandering around looking for him. She'd be looking for me! My angel! Not his! MINE! *eyes widen in shock* What am I thinking? *blinks several times* I'm going to kill her & steal her powers. I can't start having feelings for her. That would just... She does look wonderful in her dress though. Maybe she'd let me hug her again? NOOO! *quickly looks at Vathek so he isn't distracted by his sister's beauty* I have already done & said too much! I'm even starting to believe in my own lies! I must get some fresh air before I loose my mind completely! "Vathek, I'm putting you in charge of running the ball in Lord Cedric's place."Vathek : "B-but what of Lord Cedric? Isn't he...?"Phobos: "He'll have his hands full," *wraps an arm around Elyon* "Just keeping little Ellie here entertained. I want the ball to be perfect. I'm sure she wants to spend as much time with him as possible, so you are to handle the ball in his place." It feels so good to hold her like this. If only I could... End of discussion! *lets go of Elyon & turns to leave* "Oh, and one more thing." *glances over his shoulder* "There is to be no fighting. Even if the guardians are to arrive, you are to keep the soldiers from attacking them. This is a day of peace in Ellie's honor. Unless the guardians attack first or Ellie says otherwise, I do not want them harmed. Am I understood?"Vathek : "Y-yes, my lord. It shall be as you say."Phobos (to Vathek): Do not be so sad. The guardians still need to be watched closely. I can't have them wandering around causing trouble or telling lies to rebels. Besides, the day of peace only lasts until midnight. Should midnight arrive & the guardians yet remain, you will be free to do as you please. "Good." *looks at one of the soldiers* "Take the servants back to their post. There is no need for them to remain in my throne room."Soldier A: "Right away, sir!" [Soldier A: Exit to Throne Room] Vathek seems to be in a slightly better mode as he looks at the remaining soldier. Vathek : "Come, we have a ball to go to."Vathek & Soldier B walk toward the ballroom. [Vathek & Soldier B: Exit to Castle Ballroom] Phobos, however, continues to walk in the opposite direction--away from the ballroom

(Since the above is most recent post that Miranda made in the RP, she must be wandering the Halls somewhere.)
As Phobos turns a corner, he continues to think about what just happened.
Phobos: How could I possibly care about my sister? All I did was hug her and... It must be some kind of spell. The very same spell that she used on Cedric to make him think treacherous thoughts & tell me to my face that he won't let her die. He is weak. He won't even try to resist the spell. But I am not. I will overcome this... This feeling! I will be victorious. *turns another corner* Knowing Cedric, he will eventually betray me. He already has! I watched the two of them on Earth & read their thoughts. Does he really think I'd let him near her without watching at all times? He mumbled something in Elyon's Room about her being killed on her coronation. Luckily, her mind was wandering & she didn't hear him. But he'll try again. I'm sure of it! He'll wait until Elyon's power is at her peak & stronger than me. Then... Then he will spill all & turn her against me! Elyon alone will be more than enough to overcome me. But the two of them combined? I won't even stand a chance! *sees Miranda & walks toward her* It's time I stopped using Cedric as my errand boy. Time I started keeping my plans to myself, only telling my minions on a need to know basis & nothing more.
He grabs Miranda by the hand & pulls her along with him.

Elyon waved her brother a friendly good-bye as he left the halls to do whatever it was that he wanted to do. And while the soldiers and servants left for the ballroom to put up the final touches, Elyon patiently awaited the grand doors of the throne hall to open up, to reveal the blonde man inside. She couldn't wait to hear what he had to say about her dress...

"Elyon!" He greeted her whole-heartingly with a warm smile. "My, you look absolutely stunning, just like the princess that you are!"
As long as Phobos was gone, Cedric felt safe to show his compassion for her as much as he wanted. She may have meant nothing to her brother and all of his other minions, but to him, Elyon was an angel, a star he could look up to. Sometimes he worried that Phobos could tell, that he didn't even need to read his mind. But did it really matter? Phobos was ampt for the coronation....
Don't think of that now, he consoled himself. She's beautiful and sweet, and she's right in front of you. Enjoying every moment until the day comes.
He smiled and held his arms out for her, desperate to recieve her lovely affection.

"Oh, thank you so much!" Elyon replied. " I was afraid you wouldn't like it, since it's so..." she quickly thought of the right word to say. "Untraditional..." Quickly, Elyon closed the distance and lived up to expectations, giving Phobos' most trusted minion a warm embrace. "So how long before the ball starts?"

"You look majestic in anything," he said honestly, hugging her tightly. "The ball shouldn't be long, my dear!"
He lightly took hold of her head, feeling her soft, wispy hair.
