*Will tried to breathe in and out as Irma battled the larvecks as she sat near the portal*
Wow, that felt weirder than I thought it would be. I feel a little sleepy now...
*But Will smiled as Irma managed to do it, so Will's given energy didn't go to waste. She was about to congratulate her before Irma fell to the ground in her normal form and Will stared in horror*
"Irma!" Will yelled. She tried standing up, but her legs felt a bit like jell-o. She stood up a bit shakily but she thought that she was alright.
"Bring her over here, Hay Lin, so we can hurry through this portal."

Since the boiling water managed to weaken the web domes, Aldar & Drake manage to cut themselves free. They start searching for survivors.

Hay Lin nodded, not wanting to waste precious energy by speaking. She had to get Irma over to the portal. With her sensitive hearing, she could tell exactly where it was without even looking or pulling in a breeze to hear a distant conversation. It was hard, since she didn't have enough wind power left to just lift Irma over and had to partially support her friend with her own strength, not really saying much. Sure, she had super fingers from complicated artwork. Just give her a nice table to rest her arm on and she could start doing finger push ups. Actual athletics were best left to the athletes. Hang in there Irma. When she pulled up level with the portal, she was just about ready to collapse through it herself, maybe take a little three day nap on the other side. But if she did that, they'd be down to two functioning Guardians - WIll looked pretty weak as well. Weak or not, Will was still supposed to be in charge, so she waited for a signal that it was alright to take Irma through the portal, just in case there was anything else. She would have said so, but she was still supporting the unconscious Irma, and trying to conserve energy.

Aldar & Drake return from their search. No survivors were found. Upon seeing everything, they run to the portal. Drake: "Let me help you with that." He wraps an arm around Hay Lin's waist & helps to support her. Aldar: "You know..." *takes Irma from Hay Lin* "This would have helped her a lot more than that." Drake: "Yeah, but I knew you were coming. And now..." *sweeps Hay Lin off her feet into his arms* "I get to carry the pretty one." Aldar:

"Let's just go through," Will said as steadily as possible. "We need to meet the other rebels and take you back to someplace safer in Meridian through another portal."
*The Gaurdians stood there restlessly as the rebels headed forward helping Irma and Hay Lin. One by one they went through. Will held her breath and stepped through the blazing blue portal*

[Enter: Vathek from Pool of Power (wherever that is)]
Vathek was standing on the walls, along with some soldiers guarding the castle. But he wasn't guarding anything. Vathek was gazing at the horizon. The city of Meridian was there, quiet and dark - a dying city, writhing in agony. People of Meridian were working hard every day, from dawn to dusk and for what? To give away most of what they've earned through their hard work to Phobos. It didn't bother Vathek before, but...
It was bothering him now. Smoke coming from one of the recently burnt houses caught his attention. Vathek stared at the smoke, observed it taking one shape after another.
Vathek's heart was heavy and he felt uneasy.
"I need to work more" he told himself "If I will, I won't have time to think like that."
But since there was nothing going on for quite some time, there was no work to be done - aside from the most primitive tasks, like mopping the floors. That kind of work wasn't suitable for a warrior. So Vathek kept gazing.
"To hell with this!" he growled angrily. Some guards around him looked at him curiously. Vathek turned around and left, determined to see Phobos and have a talk with him. It wasn't very humble of him, but Vathek was fed up with being humble.
"Hey, you!" Vathek adressed one of the soldiers "Where is the Prince?"
"Last time we saw Him... He was heading for the south tower."
Vathek nodded and rushed to the south tower as well.
[Exit: Vathek, to the South Tower]
