In the meditating towers, the Oracle was about to observe an important moment on Earth.
*Oracle touches the magical water's surface with his finger.*
The resulting ripples on the water surface slowly changed the colour of the entire pool. Now there was an image of Heatherfield cemetery. Even though he knew what was happening in all of the infinite universes, he decided to focus on this particular event. One that would determine the course of many events.
*With the Oracle's will the image changed once more.*
This time the image focused on Elyon. A girl in search of her identity. Was she a simple girl who lived in Heatherfield? Or was she the princess of Meridian? No matter what her true origins were, what really mattered was who would she decide to be.
"It's time you make your decision Elyon... For the best or worst."
He wished he could tell everything to her. Yet his role as an Oracle denied him such action. All he could do was wait, and hope she would do the right thing.

Every action of a person causes an impact in the universes, radiating and effecting others. Like a single drop that falls in a pond, producing ripples. And now imagine infinite amount of drops on a vast ocean, and the resulting ripples.
They may not find each other at all, being mutually exclusive. Or are they? Even if it seems unlikely, everything is connected to each other. Directly or indirectly.
They might stop each other to form nothing. Or is that nothing? The end of an action is also an important result after all.
They can combine to form a large wave. But even as large as it is; what is the importance of a wave in an eternal ocean? Can it be ignored? Can the other ripples on its path that are swallowed be considered insignificant?
They could collide and distort their motion, change their course. So unpredictable... So many different reactions can form, large or small, every change counts... So is the way of chaos...
How can order find place in such massive chaos? The secret is the drops themselves; determine where they fall and you'll get the pattern you wish on the surface of the ocean. Therefore the Fortress of Kandrakar exists in the center of infinity, to observe every single action in the universes. And to make sure that nothing interferes with the natural order. A single large drop may alter many things beyond repair...
And so is Elyon's effect on the universes. Most may be unaware of her or even Meridian and Earth, but those who are close her will be affected by every action she takes. Phobos wishes to control this power. Yet, there is still hope. Elyon's decision isn't absolute and it will never be unless Phobos causes a drastic change in the events. Even if she joins Phobos, the Light of Meridian wasn't a lost case. She will always doubt her brother's intentions.
As the Oracle's thoughts shape in this way, Althor and Vaal entered the meditation chambers.
*Althor spoke first as he saluted the Oracle.*
"Oracle, sorry to interrupt your meditation but, the preparations are complete. Everyone is expecting you at the Hall of Congregation."
Vaal was more interested in the visions that could be seen in the pool.
"Master, is the Light of Meridian-"
"No, Vaal. The situation is proceeding better than I've hoped. And Althor, tell the others I'll attend the ceremony soon. I still have to observe Elyon's final decision."
*Althor and Vaal bows and leaves the room, while the Oracle continues to watch Elyon and Cedric.*

Even though Kandrakar is beyond time itself the concept still had a major importance.
'I shouldn't keep the elders of of the council and Yan Lin waiting. After all, she served the Fortress well and now deserves to truly be a part of it.'
*Oracle slowly gets up and heads towards the exit.*

[Oracle enters from the Great Hall of Congregation]
*Oracle immediately begin to tap into the Veil's magic fabric.*
The Oracle could clearly see the damage on the magical seal. Years had passed since it was raised and Phobos had challenged its might ever since. Frequent maintanence had became a necessity, otherwise the Veil would collapse with little effort from the evil prince. Yet, should Elyon tried to breach it...
Then no matter what they do the worn Veil would simply fall. And the evil of Phobos would spread to other worlds. Casting a new Veil was out of question as Phobos was too cunning and wouldn't fall for it the second time. They had managed to surprise Phobos during the first time. If a new Veil was raised he could simply escape Metamoore while the old one was replaced.
*Oracle concentrates in order to repair the damages as much as possible.*
He could only hope to maintain the Veil until the guardians defeat the evil tyrant and restore Elyon to the throne.

The Oracle sat by the magical waters in Meditating Tower as he watched the happenings of Meridian. He looked at how the Rebels were doing, then the scene changed to where Prince Phobos was. After awhile he touched the water again and Heatherfield was revealed. He watched as the Guardians went along with their daily lives.
'It's a pity that they don't know that they are walking right into the trap. However, they will have to find this out on their own. I will not reveal what I know to them for they need to do things on their own. I also can't tell Yan Lin about this either or she will constantly worry for her granddaughter the Guardian of Wind.' The Oracle thought. He then looked towards the water once more and saw Elyon, the Light of Meridian. As he watched her he hoped that she would soon be able to see the truth and then be the Queen that she was meant to be. It was disconcerting to think that she did not wish to be queen anymore and Phobos would still be in control of Meridian.
He dipped his hand once more into the water and the water was once more clear. Then the Oracle closed his eyes and went into a meditative sleep.
