Above the resturant, in the Lin's apartment. Where Hay Lin sleeps. Full of art projects. A bit of a mess.

Hay Lin tossed and turned in her sleep, but because she had turned off her alarm clock, she didn't wake up. When she went to bed, she had remembered that today was Yan Lin's funeral, and she didn't want to have to face that yet. Eventually of course, her mother came to wake her up, and she reluctantly trudged to her dresser.
"I just slept for an extra hour, yet I'm tired..."
With a wide yawn, she pulled on her white funeral dress, looking at herself in the mirror with a sigh before heading downstairs.

[Enter: Blunk and Caleb from ally behind the restaurant]
"I know it here somewhere." Blunk said to Caleb as they walked into the messy room where art stuff was everywhere. He started digging around making it more messy.
"One of Guardians lives here." blunk told him. "Aha! Blunk found it!" he said as he held up some folded papers

[Enter Sandpit from: Cornelia's Room]
Once more a whirlwind of sand burst forth through the window. Sandpit had arrived at his final destination. He sifted through the cluttered room and surveyed his surroundings.
"Sheesh what a mess. This little mouse must be taught a lesson in proper maintannence."
Sandpit turned his body blowing everything across the room. He tore through the room destroying everything in his path. He grabbed a frame that contained a photo of Yan Lin.
"Tsk tsk you shouldn't be holding on to the past. It's very unhealthy."
He crushed it his hands and flew out the window.
[Exit Sandpit to: Heatherfield Park - The Wooded Area]

[Enter Hay Lin; From The Basement (I'm lazy )] Hay Lin trudged wearily up the stairs to her room. She wanted to just crawl into bed and stay there for a long time, curled under the covers as if she was in a protective cocoon - protecting her from the pain that awaited her in the outside world. However, when she opened the door, it only took her about half a second to realize that something was really wrong. "My-my room!" she cried, putting a hand over her mouth while the one that had been on the doorknob fell limply to her side. "What-who-" Of course, she didn't really need to think that through. This could only be Guardian related. Her room was normally a bit messy, but this was beyond that. Her stuff was everywhere, as though something had blown through and tossed all of her stuff around the room, leaving it a mess. Why was the world so confusing today? Elyon going on about the Guardians and Meridian - she'd never even been to Meridian! - and now this...this mess that used to be her room. She could call her parents, but they had enough to deal with. And she couldn't exactly explain how this had happened. She didn't even know how it had happened. Her next idea was to call the others, and she had her phone in her hand with the first two digits of Will's number punched in when she thought better of it and canceled the call. The other girls were trying to sleep. Even if she couldn't get a decent night's sleep - her bed was also tossed asunder - the others deserved to. Especially Cornelia, who seemed to be having a hard time as well, what with Elyon's weirdness. Wordlessly, she cleared the clutter off of her bed and collapsed onto it. After the day she'd had, she wasn't in the mood to spend time and effort trying to clean all of this up on her own, or even to put some pajamas on, she just wanted to rest. Hay Lin closed her eyes, and within minutes fell into a restless, fitful sleep. She tossed and turned all night on the bare mattress, her petite body sprawled over it in the middle of her room. Her cell phone rang, techno ringtone sounding over and over, but she didn't stir, lost in dreams.

Day 8 Light filtered through the window of Hay Lin's bedroom, causing the petite asian to stir slightly, blinking and yawning. Her eyes felt heavy, like there was something her mind was trying to cushion her against the world around her. Then she sat up and looked around, and the previous day came rushing back to her. There was the funeral, the danger that she might be losing it, and the fact that her room had been trashed completely. Her phone was flashing with a missed call, and when she reached over and pressed a button, Will's name and phone number flashed onto the screen. The phone had been on, but she still hadn't caught the call, oops. Maybe there had been a big accident and she hadn't been there to help! Or maybe Will had a lead on the night of the living dead situation in her bedroom, maybe they'd been hit too. She stood abruptly, calling a small breeze to her hand and blowing a bit of sand away from her dresser. Sand? Hmm. With little identifiable clothing to choose from, she grabbed a pink tank top and tugged it over her head, a white skirt and pink tights joining it a moment later, followed by a pair of darker pink legwarmers and tennis shoes. Hay Lin didn't want to think too much, didn't want to dwell on what had happened, Yan Lin would have wanted her to help the Guardians instead of moping, she was sure of that. But when she spotted a crushed picture in its frame, picking it up delicately due to the broken glass, she began to shake, staring unseeingly at the ruined picture of her grandmother. Who had done this? Who had come in, and...and...words failed her, and she had to take a deep breath before she could force herself to move. Without a word to her parents, she grabbed her schoolbag and slipped quietly out of the house, running as soon as she got out the door. The only thing she could hope was that Will would have some idea of what had happened, and how to fix it. Hay Lin's grandmother had told them all about their destiny, but with her gone, she was on the same level as the others information-wise, and since Will was the leader, she should be marginally more informed at least. She had to cling to that hope to block out the tears that desperately wanted to spring out. Although her grandmother wouldn't have wanted her to cry, seeing that picture so blatantly destroyed, someone had wanted to crush it and that disrespected her memory in a heart wrenching way. [Exit to Sheffield gate.]

[OOC note: Will made astral drops in Cornelia's Home, but is it ok if I post ahead in here? ] Everything looks erratic to the Astral Drop's naked optics. She doesn't even know on how to utilize these... stuff with the exception of the windows and the doors. She absentmindedly peered out the window. Despite the fact that the window's glass prevented her to hear clearly, at least a blur of sounds can still enter her ears. She went to the bed and sat down, not even doing anything. After all, she will be lashed out if ever she will do something illegal. And you know, she still isn't sure if just sketching or drawing are one of the advisable things to do -- but she was still uncertain -- so no.

(Sure, that's fine. In fact, I need to borrow the AD for a sec.)
Fang: "Hay Lin! Get down here quick, you got order!"
The sudden yell from the restraunt below surprises her & causes her to jump off her bed.
Astral Hay Lin: Sheesh! That scared me. *brushes the wrinkles out of her clothes* At least it'll give me something to do... *walks out the door* I wonder who it's for.

[Astral Hay Lin: Enter from In the Living Room]
She puts her tip in a drawer, then goes back to sitting on the bed.
Astral Hay Lin: If only I had a boyfriend, then I wouldn't be bored out of my mind with nothing to do. *sighs as she lays down* Such is the life of an astral drop...
She falls asleep.

[Enter Hay Lin]
Hay Lin climbed carefully up the stairs, trying her best not to make the steps creak and groan. She might be invisible, but if her parents woke up they could still find her by bumping into her. And if she was discovered while invisible...well, better not to think about that. As she crossed the hallway, she could still hear gentle snores coming from her parent's bedroom. Yes, sleep. Good. She gently opened her bedroom door and crossed to the bed, where her astral drop was sleeping peacefully. Maybe some of that sleep would be transferred...she reabsorbed the astral drops, letting the memories of the previous day wash over her. Nothing much had happened, sitting around, sitting a-what? She'd made a delivery to Will's house, where she'd been hanging with that guy what's-his-name. And that guy had seemed to be hitting on her as well, yick. She had no interest in boys, they were for hormonal people like Cornelia or Irma who crushed left and right. Her head was firmly on her shoulders. She didn't want a boyfriend. And plus, she - the real her- wouldn't let a guy who was already hanging out with one of her friends hit on her. She would have to chat with that astral drop next time they came out. "Oh well. I should ask Will about it tomorrow. Er-today..." She collapsed onto the bed and closed her eyes, drifting to sleep as she desperately vied for at least a few minutes of shut eye.

"Hay Lin! Hay Lin!"
Huh? What was going on? Her eyes were barely open as she stared groggily in the direction of her door. She was tired, so tired. They should just let her sleep, why were they - uh oh. She heaved herself up so that she was sitting, staring down at yesterday's clothes, which she was still wearing. Crud, how much sleep did I manage to get? She hadn't looked at her alarm clock when she entered, but her body was telling her that the answer was 'not much'. Hay Lin groaned.
"It's time to get up for school! What are you doing still in bed?"
"'M-" she yawned widely "coming, coming, 'm coming." Her mother seemed to have heard her sleepy moans, since the altogether too loud yelling stopped. Gosh, if hangovers were anything like this she wasn't trying alcohol even when she was old enough. She felt awful. Her clothes weren't selected with the usual care that day, she merely shoved on a fresh outfit and strapped a pair of goggles to her head without checking the color coordination. Time to shamble off and face the music.
[Exit to downstairs]

[Enter Hay Lin from front gates]
Hay Lin moved quietly through the kitchen of the Silver Dragon, not wanting to disturb her parents, or run into them if they felt like talking about her day. She loved them, of course, but this was really not the day to discuss how things had gone. The parts she had been conscious for anyway. She dropped her bag next to her messy desk and pulled the goggles from her head and dropped them on top of a sketch. She should work on some homework, she really should...
Ten minutes later, she was curled up in bed, sound asleep and snoring loudly.
