I find Yaoi/Yuri somewhat annoying. It's one thing when it's cannon but making stuff up to feed fangirls/fanboys is just offensive. Authors create characters with certain personality traits, including sexual orientations. When people twist those around I think it offends the original artist. Joking around is ok (Roy Mustang in a mini skirt is funny), but some people get into it waaaaay to much.

I agree that some people get into it way too much. And not just in yaoi/yuri. It's fine to like a certain ship that's not canon but to be all rabid and crazy when someone disagrees otherwise is too much. I may joke about being rabid and crazy about certain non-canon ships but it's just that...a joke. At least I can admit to myself that it's not canon unlike some others... Though, I don't think it's offensive to the original creator to say write fanfiction about certain non-canon ships or non-canon situations. Even though a lot of fanfiction is horrid, it's all in good fun. Back on topic now? Heh. So I'm assuming this is becoming a rather popular anime, right? Or was it always popular and I just never noticed? I keep on seeing stuff for it all around now. I don't know if it's just I never took note or it's just starting to become more popular.

well I think it was popular before I found out about it...but as usual, good anime finds the US later than it does other countries it's definitely famous in cosplay everyone cosplays for Hetalia cuz they want to be a "country" XD

I might check it out just to see what all the fuss is about. England and America are brothers right? Haha, I've heard of Hogan's Heroes. My dad used to watch it when it was on TVLand.

Hogans Heroes you mean? Yes, my dad used to watch it a couple years back so I've definitely heard of it. He said it was funny. I've never seen an episode all the way through so I wouldn't know. Yeah, I just googled it and America is England's little brother. In other news 'googled' really should become part of the dictionary.

England adopted America as their younger brother, after England and France fought over adopting him. I adore Italy! He be so cute! :3 In other news, Holy Empire (in mini-hetalia) is rumored to be Germany, because Germany ran the Holy Empire. CATALIA
