jokes like that are those things that you laugh and then go "oh how horrible" I just watched 'My Sister's Keeper' and that movie was so sad! I was tearing up and crying like the whole time!

I don't think its right to crack jokes about people who have passed on. :-\

If you're going to crack jokes about someone, it's better to do it when they're dead than when they're alive. A corpse has no feelings.

...but it hurts the people who have just lost a loved one more Somebody made a joke about getting hit by a car a couple of days after my uncle and cousins died in a car crash. I was tearing up and it wasn't the least bit funny YAYZ! I can't wait to go to the live harry potter tour today! I wish Christine could come with us though

People die--it's a way of life. We're all going to die someday, & there's nothing we can do about it. I'm not saying that you have to like it. I'm just saying that we need to accept the mortality of those around us & move on with our lives. Crying about it won't make anyone feel better.

I believe in that, but people should also have some sensitivity to other's feelings regardless of the truth of that statement. If your parents died you wouldn't be all "well that's death" and continue your ordinary day. It's not the dying part that's hard, it's accepting the fact that a certain person will no longer be a part of your everyday life. Mourning is natural and healthy when there is death so there's also nothing wrong with that

I've already had numerous friends & several relatives die already. Yet, my life still goes on as normal.

duh life moves on. But are you telling me that fresh after their deaths you didn't want to cry or miss them in any way? That's what I'm talking about

i believe you can joke about everything, yes. however there's a slight difference about WHAT you can joke about, and WHEN you should tell the joke. you can joke about everything, but respect the fact that sometimes it might be better just shutting up since it's a bad time for a specifik joke.

I just watched 'My Sister's Keeper' and that movie was so sad! I was tearing up and crying like the whole time! That was such a great movie! I was on the verge of tears the whole entire time and twice I just couldn't hold it in any long and started crying so hard. If my friend (who wasn't crying) wasn't sitting right next to me, I would have cried the whole movie.

Heartless... and I know Kristi! It's just so sad! But it really was a great movie, and Cameron Diaz was fantastic! I didn't know she could act like that. She really was pushed to the extremes in every emotional way and it worked well. The part when she finally started crying was the point where I started bawling. I think it's the most horrible thing in the world for a mother to watch their child die. I severely hope that I won't ever have to deal with that because I don't know if I could handle it.

Then be sure to close your eyes if it ever happens.

I'm not going to lie. I find MJ jokes hilariuos. But, at this time I wont be telling any out of respect for his family and fans. His music was actually good. I like Thriller, Beat it, and wannta be starting something.
