"That's princess Elyon to you, plant-man!" Elyon said in an irritated tone. "And I know which important things you should start worrying about." She crossed her arms and started smirking herself... She recognized this guy's face. She knew how Phobos had treated him earlier... "Go bug someone else with your rudeness, minion. I won't accept it from Phobos, and I won't accept it from you."

Kami: So she wants to play name-calling games to make her appear superior, does she? Very well, two can play that way. *bows mockingly* "Please forgive me, Princess Pigtails. But it seems you've forgotten that I've sworn to serve Prince Phobos & only Prince Phobos."

"Then go ahead and serve him." Cedric answered angrily. "Serve him tea, give him a backrub, maybe protect him from sunlight - you know, trees do that. Just get out of the princess' sight. For your own sake."

Kami: "If you're too dumb to realize why I came here in the first place, then that's not my problem. Why don't you go serve him?"

"Because, my dear friend, I'm doing what he's not capable of - like helping the princess feel at home." Cedric chuckled. "And trust me, that's more important than whatever task he gave you."

Elyon rolled her eyes and unfolded her arms. "That's enough!" she interrupted the back-and-forth between Cedric and Phobos' minion. "The way I see it, you're just here to fling insults at everybody. So I'll have to ask you to leave me and lord Cedric alone. I won't ask you again." Knowing that she was in fact superior to the murmerer and his cheesy name in terms of both power and authority, Elyon felt no need to tolerate his insults any longer. He was going to leave them alone. One way or the other...

Kami: "Very well..."
He morphs into his human disguise.
Belac: "I shall wait for you outside." *smirks* "But only because you asked."
He leaves the room, closes the door, & waits.

"Now that that's out of the way..." Cedric stared at the door for a moment or two after the whisperer left. "I... Well, I need to apologize for... ahem. Falling on you like that."

"It's okay." Elyon replied, a bit more distantly than she wanted to. Stupid Phobos. Even if he's not around, he still manages to ruin everything! But not anymore. As soon as she would be on the other side of the veil, he couldn't ruin anything. And maybe... Just maybe...
Elyon interupted her own stream of thoughts when she remembered she still wanted to gather some more supplies. "Hey Cedric. You wouldn't happen to know a few things in the castle that would be really useful if we took it with us, would you?"

"What exactly do you have in mind, princess?" Cedric asked. "The castle is full of all kinds of things, just name it - and we'll go get it."
Supplies? Cedric would have preferred just the two of them, using their own power. After all, there is no better way of learning than "learn or die" situations. And with them bound to run into the guardians, it was obvious that the day won't end peacefully. In fact, Cedric was worried about his own hide - and pride too. Being weak like this, he was an excellent target. But that wasn't all. He couldn't stand people helping him, even saving his life. He didn't like to feel indebted. Elyon just saved his life once. Cedric didn't want that to happen again.

"Hmmm..." Elyon was a little disapointed in Cedric's answer. She hoped he had a good idea, ready-to-use... "In that case, I think I'll drop by that... Tower... Room... Thing..." She wasn't really sure what to call it. "In the meantime... Why don't you fo find one of those portal things?"

"Sure." Cedric answered. Right now, he felt very tired. But the day was far from over, so he reluctantly turned away from the princess and went to open the door. "Right away."
He grabbed the handle and stopped for a moment. Then Cedric opened the door and bumped into Phobos' servant. "Well." He said almost sadly. "You know, eavesdropping is hardly fit for someone who has such a high rank."
Cedric didn't wait for an answer. He just went outside, in search for a portal - and solitude.

Ignoring the minion's pressence, Elyon too left the dormitory with her head held high. As soon as she passed the first corner of the hallways, she tried to cut a second one as fast as possible. She wanted to prevent this bozo from even trying to follow her.
