Later that day, roughly an hour before the ball...
The doors opened wide and in came Jink, the tailor, and Elyon, the princess who also happened to be the main reason behind the whole ball in the first place. Phobos had planned to organise this ball perhaps a day earlier... It was amazing how fast his suggestion became reality...
Also very impressive was what Elyon saw when she entered this room again. In the afternoon, during her absence, the tailor managed to transform the room from a dormitory into a bedroom containing lots of fabric ready to be made into clothing. It was no difficult feat, certainly. But it was rather quickly done for sure...
For a moment, Jink halted and thought, before remembering, and pulling out a small golden pedestal from underneath various large rolls of cloth. He placed it in the middle of the chamber and made a motion for Elyon to stand on it. "Majesty, if you please..." Naturally, Elyon obliged, and also followed the tailor's following insturctoins, which included spreading her arms out to the sides and standing as upright as possible without straining herself.
Master Jink clearly intended to keep to his promise to the prince. In a matter of moments did he note down all of Elyon's measurements, and after that, the prefferences for her gown. He quickly drew some scissors, and started cutting and sowing the ideal fabric. Slowly enough, the tailor would be able to transform the cloth into the perfect dress for his princess...

The tailor finished up the last bits of the gown he was working on, when he looked up to the odd-looking clock on the wall. "Very good! There's even some time left..." Jink remarked. He worked as fast as he could without making the gown's quality suffer from it, and he was clearly pleased those efforts paid off.
"Your highness..." Jink called. "Yes?" Elyon replied. She hadn't been paying much attention to the tailor's work, and instead had been looking out the window, thinking hard about what lies ahead of her... The ball... Her further life as princess... Her friends, whom she's supposed to openly oppose... This new magical sensation she never knew of before... And eventually... She would need to step up and take her responsibilities as a member of the royal family...
"Your gown is ready." Elyon couldn't believe her eyes... Lying in the tailor's arms was positively the most beautiful blue thing she ever saw. Although master Jink had to work within a time limit, he certainly didn't waste any effort. The gown was made with a royal-blue coloured fabric, and employed a lot of white and teal highlights. Similairly to Phobos' royal robes, the gown wasn't made to rest upong her shoulders, as they were left completely open. The top and bottom parts of the gown were actually disconnected, save for a few links in the form of gold-coloured rings, which left the area around her belly exposed as well. On the bottom section of the gown, Jink had printed the symbol Cedric wore on his robes, and Phobos employed throughout the palace. Even the sleeves were of unique design. While they were wide, they were split into two halves and kept together by a gold-coloured ring, much the actual gown.
Seeing how Elyon was amazed by his work, master Jink explained: "I heard that you were raised in an alternate reality beyond the veil, thus I tried to bring both Metamoorian, as well Alternate'Realitian aspects into your gown." "It's beautiful!" Elyon said. "But, won't I stand out too much if I wear that?" Jink smiled. "It's supposed to make you stand out, your highness. The ball is in your honour after all." He carefully handed the gown to the princess, while he said: "Now, if you would try it on for a moment, I'll quickly go get some accesoires to go with it."
Quickly, Jink left the room, leaving Elyon behind alone as she would try the gown on...

[Enter: Guardians and Blunk from Castle Ballroom]
*As the Guardians stood outside the door to Elyon's room, Will turned to Blunk*
"Blunk," Will whispered. "Stay out here and alert us if something goes on out here.
*Blunk gave a salute and stood straight up, his eyes moving back and forth, inspecting the deserted hallway. Well, that was partly the reason that Blunk should stay outside. Will was afraid that he might also scare Elyon*
"Here goes," Will said softly as she raised a shaking knuckle and knocked on the door.
"Housekeeping," Will said hoarsely.
*The door instantly opened and the girls raised their arms to shield themselves from the bright light of the room*

"Come in!" Elyon called, not recognizing Will's voice. The princess had just finished putting on the gown and with a critic's eye looked at herself in a mirror. "I guess..." she quietly added, just barely approving of the experimental design the tailor had used. For a moment, Elyon wondered how Cedric would think of this dress.
"I suppose I should move out of your way, right?" Her gaze had shifted, and instead of studying herself in the mirror, she now used it to indirectly look at the five servants who had just entered...

Taranee was speechless. Elyon was wearing a beautiful dress and studying herself in a mirror. Something about her seemed so royal and regal. For the first time Taranee and the other guardians could see that she truely was without a doubt the Princess of Meridian.

"Elyon," Will whispered. She felt Cornelia move beside her and immediately moved up her hands.
"Please don't get mad or throw us out. We just want to talk"

"Okay." Elyon replied. Her mind was too focussed on Phobos' grand ball, which was only a few minutes away, to catch onto the fact that the servant's voice was actually that of the redhead that moved into Heatherfield only a few days ago.
"Urgh! What is keeping that tailor!?" Elyon suddenly demanded impatiently. She felt like a wreck of nerves everytime she felt her heart beat unprepared for the grand event. She'd feel a lot more at ease when Jink would finish her up with the accesoires he promised...

Hay Lin shifted nervously from foot to foot, staring in awe at Elyon's chamber, then at Elyon herself. She really looked like a princess, and didn't seem to have recognized the guardians, judging by the fact that she was asking about a tailor and not reacting to their appearance at all. She looked at Will, then Cornelia, feeling awkward standing in the grand room in borrowed servant's clothes.

*Will blinked in surprise and looked at the other Guardians uncomfortably. Did Elyon, the Elyon that had previously tried to kill them just say "okay" and then ask where her tailor was?*
Well, there's only one thing left to do I guess
*Will nodded at her friends and they all let down the hoods of their servant clothes. Even if this was total suicide, at least Elyon would have to acknowledge them and listen to what they had to say and maybe give some answers of her own*

As the hoods and robes made way, Elyon started to realise. Her eyes widened in amazement, or maybe fear, as she noticed just whom she was speaking to. In the bright light of her dormitory, Elyon could clearly see the five older girls, and although they looked different from usual, she could clearly recognize them. She quickly turned around to face them directly, allowing the five guardians to read her expression much more clearly. Elyon's memory quickly recalled the events of the past few days at the sight of her friends, along with the realisation that she was in a similar situation as the last time she saw them in the palace.
But what could she do? Elyon's eyes briefly shifted towards the balcony-side window. Her first concern was to stay away from there. "Girls..." she managed to utter, still at a loss for words. She hoped that Jink, or even better: Cedric would come soon to check up on her, but in the meantime, she had to find a way to stall... "Girls, I..." she repeated. "I..."
They wished to talk to her, so Elyon figured that the best thing to do was to talk. At least until someone would come in...

"Please don't call for guards. We're only here to talk. Just listen to us Elyon. Phobos is lying to you. This grad ball your dress, everything. He's bad Elyon, he's making the people of Merdian suffer. THey live in poverty under his rule. You have to believe us."

*Will nodded as she agreed with Taranee. They had to be careful. Their safety still only reached the limits of Elyon's patience*
"No matter what anyone has told you, we are not the bad guys here. We're not exactly sure why you attacked us, but it's okay." Will said.
"We hope that you're still our friend. Being in this place...you're probably as confused and frustrated as we are with growing wings"
ooc: that don't work, lol ^^

Luckilly enough for their cause, Phobos and Cedric had already begun setting Elyon up against her friends... "Okay? Okay!?"she yelled. "Well, I'll tell you: it's not okay! If you're going to mention attacks, you might as well mention your own!" the words brought back terrible memories of only a few days before, causing Elyon hate and anger to swell up again. However, she herself tried hard to keep her temper under control. Apparently, the girls got caustious of her, and they were right to do so. Until Phobos and Cedric learned her to control this new power, Elyon felt dangerous to anyone, including herself. "If you've come to tell who's lying to me and who's not, then why don't you tell me how I can know you're not the ones lying?"

*Will was shocked. She thought that something like this would happen but she had pushed the idea of Elyon's anger from her mind until this moment*
"Tell me again when we ever attacked Elyon?" Irma asked Hay Lin
"I don't know, Irma," Will said in confusion and then shook her head. "I guess we can't proove that we're not lying. That's up to you to decide. We're not going to force you to believe us, but just pay close attention to what goes on here. The people of Meridian are starving and lifeless, and they've been at the hands of Phobos for years. How can you be sure to trust a ruler whom his own subjects fear and hate?"
*Will knew that she was going to have objections from her friends and get yelled out later, but she really felt that they should leave. Elyon was angry and confused, and they had gone to talk with her, not force her to believe them*
*Will put her hood up*
"Come on, I think we should go so that Elyon can enjoy her ball."
*As she had thought, her fellow Guardian voices protested in her head. She bit her lip and still wasn't sure if she was making the right decision of backing down. Nevertheless, she still thought it firmly*
We will not be like Phobos. We can help Elyon, but let her decide until we can show her that we are telling the truth

Taranee wasn't expecting them to back down so quickly, but Will seemed to have the right idea so she agreed.
Alright Will. We'll go.
Taranee noticed that Cornelia was itching to speak, and that she didn't want to leave so quickly.
