One larveck starts to dig a hole into the ground to attack from beneath. The others merely force their way through the gushing torrent.

Hay Lin quickly freezes the larvecks that were trapped in the water. And the larvecks become immobolized until the ice melts.
Irma hears Taranee but is too faint from all her power loss and barely gets the time to turn around before the larvecks is in front of her.

*Taranee turns to Will looking frazzled*
"I could try to make a ring of fire around them but I might hurt the rebels or Hay Lin. Do you have any ideas?"

Caleb: "Yeah! Have Irma find oil in the ground, then use the water within the oil to bring the oil to the surface and..." *a larveck bites him in his sword arm* "ARGH!"
He takes the sword with his left hand & starts poking at it, but to no effect.

*Once Taranee spoke, something clicked. She looked up with a gasp and sent a pink energy beam at the larveck attacking him. She then shot a quick one at the one attacking Irma and ran in front of her*
"Are you okay?" Will asked, bending down beside her fallen friend.
"Oh this isn't working. We need a shield!"
Oh wait, I have one of those...
*Will held up her hands and allowed a small energy shield to spread up and outward over the Guardians and Caleb's heads . It formed a small dome around their bodies as Irma lay gasping on the floor*
"Mmm, think of something quickly; I just bought some time," Will muttered, already the beads of perspiration trickling down her forehead from holding up the shield

Hay Lin was tired. She hated to admit it, but after their night of sneaking, then the ball, and repelling the Larveks over and over again only to have them get right back up, she was really feeling some strain. But unlike Irma, she hadn't used enough power to rip the web apart, she'd only pushed the creatures around and frozen them with Irma's help. "Irma! Are you okay?" Her voice was higher than normal, seeing her friend's posture and expression. Will was creating an energy shield around them, but right now the petite Asian girl was more worried about Irma, since she seemed to be in the worst shape. And it was all because she'd gotten trapped in that stupid web! If only she'd been more alert, she could have flown away and avoided this. She glanced back up at Will, and realized that she looked strained as well. "I think we should try to get out of here. These things just don't quit," she said, taking a shallow breath as she tried to focus. Wind itself was free and emotionless, it had no bias or side. But it could carry sounds, and some of those sounds might point her towards an exit. Unfortunately, all she could hear was a faint buzzing. Was that Will's energy shield? Or was that a headache starting from all of this super-listening?

Caleb places a hand on his wound as he crawls to the center of the circle. _______________ A larveck leaps up & bites Drake's boot. It slips off. The larveck falls back to the ground.
Drake: *pulls his legs in closer* "If you girls got a plan, I'm all ears!"
Another larveck leaps, but misses.

"This is riddiculous!" Will cried out. She hated to drop the energy sheild, but she knew that she couldn't hold it any longer anyway.
"Quick! Help any fallen rebel and run over here as fast as you can!" Will yelled. The rebels started running or were being helped to run by their comrads closer to the shield. Will threw it down and held out her hand for the Heart of Kandrakar to appear.
Please work, like last time.
*Suddenly, a big blue swirling portal was hanging in the air right by the group. She didn't care where it went, as long as it was away from harm's way*
"Go! Go!" Will cried at the rebels as they scrambled through the open portal until all that faced the Guardians were the larvecks, but they needed to hurry through the portal

The four rebels, who were with Hay Lin, run through the portal. Caleb does the same. ________ Drake: "Oh great, you're gonna run away & leave me stuck in this web dome to die! That's so honorable of you...!"
More larvecks leap at him. One manages to bite off a chunk of his coat. ___________ Mommy larveck screeches & flies toward the ground.

"Oh you know that we won't just leave you there," Will said. She looked at Taranee.
"Guard the portal to keep those things out. We need a new way to tackle those webs since Irma's out of energy-"
Unless...well my element is energy right? Maybe if I help Irma, she can save the rebel.
*Will walked over to Irma and bent over to her as she panted*
"Here, Irma, I have a gift for you if it works."
*Will placed her hands into Irma's as a humming went from fingertip to fingertip. Will started to feel drowsy but smiled as Irma blinked and water sputtered from her hands as if she were revitalized*

"Uh, guys?" Hay Lin's eyes had gone wide, staring up at a much larger version of the creatures currently attacking them. Her voice was a squeak, and she pointed up at the thing. "I think we ought to hurry. It looks like one of these Larveks is super-sized!" And it was flying! The little ones had been easily knocked away so long as there was space. But this big one flying towards them was so not what she wanted to see while they were running low on energy from all of this fighting. She couldn't do much to speed this along though, since air probably wasn't going to be any more useful from the other side of the webs. Well, she could do one thing. Trusting that Irma was all right thanks to whatever it was exactly that Will had done, she turned and pulled in a current of air, building as much force as she could before hurling it out in a gust that knocked a number of small larveks away from the portal. This problem would just continue if they could be followed to the other side. She was tired, but this was more important than that. And if the others could keep going, so could she.

Irma felt like she just had drunk a extremly large cup of coffee, since energy came back to her and her head stopped to spin. "Are you alright Will?" she asked and will just nodded. "Cornelia, take Will to the portal and help Taranee guard it" Irma said and stood up, feeling fresh and new. "Now, let's see if we can find something hot water." she said and took some steps forward. "Hay Lin, guard my back okay?" she asked and then went to work.
Irma held her hands poiting towards the ground and summoned the hot, boiling water with a temperature at 100 degrees. Water that no living being could survive in for a longer amount of time. With her mind she pushed the water forward, opening up a small channel in the ground and mist started to pour out of a hole. Then she sped the water to a high velocity. "Water" she said and her face got stern. Suddenly once again a hugh stream of water, but this time boiling water, sprouted from the ground directly at the small larvecks cooking them alive, leaving an awful stench behind. She made sure she had got all of the smaller larvecks before she moved on.
Irma felt that her energy was leavning her again, but she wasn't done yet. She still had that big momma larveck, floating high above the ground. Sweat poured down Irma's back when she commanded the water to take shape as a giant hand, leaping up from the ground and grabbin the momma larveck by the neck, and abruptly tossing her to the ground, hurting it badly and boiling it. "Not done just yet" Irma muttered with anger in her voice, and used her final energy she got from Will to let the water arise and encircle the beast, making sure it was well cooked.
While done, the water suddenly fell to the ground. And so did Irma, unconcious and blood rinning from her mouth, dripping down from the her pale lips. She also transformed back to her normal self, since she didn't have any energy to keep her guardian form.

Hay Lin nodded and stood at attention while Irma took care of the Larveks, only needing to blast one sneaky little creature back as it tried to come up behind their new attacker. An awful smell filled the air when Irma was done, and Hay Lin found herself gagging coughing. The stench would have been unpleasant for anyone, but factor in an excellent sense of smell - smell, like sound, was carried on the air - and it spelled major stink bomb. Yuck. Still, it had worked. Wheezing slightly, she forced herself to inhale, then exhale, creating a little pocket of air around her head that she had pulled in from overhead, where the smell wasn't as bad. "You did it Irma! That was amazing," she said, having finally regained her breath, "You just showed those - Irma? Irma!" She had realized that her friend was in trouble, after beating the Larveks she had simply collapsed onto the ground, and even returned to human form. "Oh no!" she gasped, her voice a squeak.
Her thin hands grasped Irma's shoulders, trying to shake her awake. She was pale, and it looked like blood was coming from the side of her mouth. Maybe Will hadn't given her quite as much of a boost as it had looked like at first, maybe that super-size bug had been too much. Panic whirred relentlessly through her mind, her usual energy turned into negative trains of thought. Every bad possibility that came up was instantly turned into a worst case scenario in her excitement. But they were okay. They would be okay. There was a portal nearby, where the others were taking care of Will. They just had to go through the portal and get out of here, and Irma would be fine. She just had to be fine, it would be all her fault if something had happened to her. "Hang on Irma!" Whether or not the Water Guardian could hear her was unclear, but she felt better for talking. "Air," she whispered, pulling in all of the air from her surroundings regardless of the smell to help her lift Irma. The petite girl couldn't pull her on her own. But she was going to be okay, Irma was going to be just fine. Hay Lin pulled her half-floating friend over to the portal, staggering over to the other three. "We should get out of here." Her voice was still hoarse from all of her guardian-ing, but of all of them she was definitely not in the worst shape. The important thing was that they got out of here before something else tried to eat them.
