"Oh sweetie..." She didn't usually like Will skipping school, but lately her daughter didn't seem to be herself. It made sense that she wasn't feeling so well. She felt her forehead. It was hot, definitely a fever. "Have you come down with a cold?"
I might have to call the school.

"mmm, I don't know. I'm just really tired," Will answered as she stifled another yawn.
As the adrenaline rush from the whole Astral Drop ordeal and being with Matt started to fade, she felt the true exhaustion that Meridian had given her. After a full day of school, absorbing the Seal of Phobos into the Heart, going to Meridian with the whole ball scene with an unconvinced Elyon and then getting chased around and battling all kinds of soldiers and monsters, not to mention how she had given away her energy to Irma and then drained the rest of her energy as she fought the trap at the portal and shielded everyone, she definitely wanted nothing more than to sleep.

Susan nodded. "You go rest and I'll call the school. Call me if you need anything." She picked up the phone and flipped open her contacts notes. After the first ring, a secretary answer.
"Hello?"
"Yes, this is Will's mother, Susan. I would like to excuse my daughter today; she's not feeling well."
"Oh, I see. Ok, I'll be sure to mark her excused."
"Thank you so much."
"Goodbye."
Click. She hung up the phone. "There, that should settle things."

*Will seemed to be falling asleep as she stood there. Her eyes started drooping as she finally felt the exhaustion of being awake for 24 hours and all of the things that she had gone through. She was barely able to notice when Susan reassured her that she could go and rest and when she walked away to go to the phone*
"Mmm hmm, okay yeah...sorry about yesterday, sick, wasn't myself..." Will muttered in a sleepy jumple as she fought to keep her eyes open. She mumbled some other incomprehensible things before dragging herself slowly to her bedroom

As Will dragged herself upstairs, Susan decided it was time for lunch. She'd wake Will up later; the girl looked pretty sleepy.

Susan sat on the couch with a contented sigh and clicked on the tv. She flipped the channels until there was a documentary about the lengendary Julius Caesar and his not-so-glamourous childhood. Not many people knew Susan to be a historian, but secretly the subject interested her quite a lot. Probably why she got along with Collins so well...

After relaxing for a full forty-five minutes (which was a lot for a Tuesday), Susan shut off the tv and grabbed her tan trench coat. She had about twenty minutes to get to work, which was more than enough time. Before she walked out the door, Susan wrote a note for Will saying that she'd be at work and there was a panini waiting for her in the fridge. She left it on the small table next to the couch. Then she was out the door with her keys ringing after her.

[Enter: Will from the Kitchen]
*Will dragged her feet as she made slow progress toward the front door. She still felt very tired and a little sick now that she thought about it, probably from using too much of her magical energy that she detransformed. She sincerely hoped that Irma wasn't feeling as bad*
"Yeah," she called out sleepily. "I'm coming..."

*Will gave another sigh as she slumped down onto the couch, feeling more tired than ever and somehow feeling a little older. She had had so much responsibility pressured onto her since becoming the Keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar and her life felt so difficult now*
"I hope Mom comes home soon," Will muttered as she yawned. The dormouse lept into her lap and Will relented a tired smile and scratched his head as her own began to fall backward as she drifted off on the couch.

Day 11
[Enter: Will from the Front Yard]
*Will shut the door behind her and started jumping up and down screaming*
;D
Oh my god! I can't believe it! I have a date with Matt! He likes me helikesmelikesme hahaha!!!!
*It took a while for Will to calm down, but her smile didn't fade. She looked at the box beside her and her backpack and decided to bring everything back to her room*
"Oh Dormouse!" Will called out happily as she headed to her room.

*Will looked around for the notepad and a pen, very aware that Matt was standing there at the door still waiting. She finally found it and sat down on the couch to write*
Gone out for a quick walk to get something. Don't worry, will be back soon and you can call my cell. Check up on my dormouse when you get here please? He's kind of freaked out. Bye!
Love, Will
*Will placed the note on the coffee table and stood up. She grabbed her jacket and made sure that her cell phone was securely in her pocket before she started to head to the front door*

"Hey Mom, I'm home. Sorry I took a while. We have pizza coming in a bit."
*Susan Vandom lifted her head from the newspaper she was looking at*
"I could have ordered a pizza myself you know"
"Well yeah, but I kind of almost forgot" Will said sheepishly, kicking off her shoes and taking off her jacket.
"Well go and do your homework then until it gets here," Susan said with a sigh.
"I'm going I'm going," Will said with a sigh heavier than her mothers.

[Enter: Will from her Room]
Will went into the living room and sat down on the couch as she started nervously flicking through channels. Her mom looked at her with a curious look and Will tried not to show how nervous she was. She grabbed a pillow and set it in her lap as she watched some show on Animal Planet.
"Are you sure you'll be okay? I had better get a phone call later when your movie is out. You won't be staying out late with some boy." Susan warned.
Will sighed. "Matt's not like that, Mom. And yes I know, I will."
She heard a ringtone and Will looked into the purse that she hardly ever used in which she had thrown her cell phone into. She pulled out her phone and saw that she had a text message from Matt saying that he was there.
Will jumped up so quickly that the pillow fell to the ground. She had to physically place a hand on her heart to calm herself down to stop the oncoming panic attack. She took a deep breath, gave a cheery wave to her mother, and walked out the door.
